Wow that is nice. I am using the same motor in my H9 Fokker D7, my 1/3rd Space Walker, and my 30% scale Wendell Hostetler L4 Cub. 24x8 Falcon at 7400 really hauls. I use a separate 18 amp UBEC that runs everything with one 8 amp power lead to the Aura 8 and the other 8 amp lead to the Spektrum with telemetry and one satelite. I also use a jumper from the Aura to the Spektrum for redundant power. I guess I have never seen an electric 109 but with that long nose it looks like a breeze to balance. Flys gracefully just like I like it. The spinner stands out well in flight. Recently I have been connecting only the flight surfaces to the Aura and the Gear, Flaps, lights etc. into the Spektrum even on my T-28 and Super Tucano and that seems to work well. Very nice flight and I'd give you a solid Ten for that landing. Looks like you have a winner there.
Thanks for posting this may eventually have one and YES mine will also be electric. Prob about the same as his. If he flies anymore please post some follow up videos
My maidens are task specific, trim for neutral level flight, confirm surface control throws, confirm landing gear actuation, confirm flap mix, observe speed to throttle input, observe and log flight duration, learn take off and landing sequence.....set up for the next round of test flights with aerobatics and all of the above...add additional warbird maneuvers wash rinse repeat.
☠BLACK BARON☠ Electric, beautiful scale flying and landing. The hat helps for sunset flights 👍

It definitely was a beautiful landing! Paul did a fantastic job piloting this 109.
Sounds really good! I like how you fly it scale speeds.
Nice hat.
Watched Paul fly this today...flies like its on rails.

Will do!
GORGEOUS!

I think the cowling is a little ahead. Am I right?
I wish guys would put cameras in their airplanes so we could get an aerial view. Great flight however, congratulations.

Why are all these RC enthusiast in such good physical condition.. ha!
Warbirds should NEVER be electric. And cowboy hats should NEVER exceed a half-acre in size.
I stopped watching the minute he connected the battery…shame.
🤣 Too true! 🤠👍
I love gas but putting a DLE 55 in this plane you have to cut a lot of the cowling to keep the engine cool.
@@p3arljam26 Maybe, but the part of the cowl you're removing is on the underside, so you really don't see it.
Exactly. Soon we will have self flying planes so we can play cards while the planes do their thing.
Electric warbird.........hard "NO". ARF warbird.......also, hard "NO". Nothing of interest to see here.
Electric? That is sad and extremely boring.
@@spitfirenutspitfirenut4835 the only benefit of electric is the airframe stays clean. 🤷🏼♂️ To each their own.
Yes it is zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz and it sounds zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Are you flying, or just listening to the sound?
@@johnnichol9412 do you watch a movie with the volume turned down? Are you watching or listening? Or both?
@@johnnichol9412 I’m taking the video. I, like most, wouldn’t power a big bird like that with anything but gas. I have my fair share of giant scale.
Beautiful plane
Bzzzzzt.....boring
Thanks for watching anyway! 😆
I agree.
Do you think Sean would fly over the Atlantic Ocean in a aircraft battery powered?
@@spitfirenutspitfirenut4835 probably not. I prefer burning dinosaur bones, but that’s me. Paul is an electric guy 100%. To each their own, I guess.
