19 years later and im still waiting for Fort Minor's 2nd lp. This will do for now.
Born in 1982. LP was there for my teenage years of rioting, aggression, peace and loneliness. Later, in my mid 30s - best wish was to attend live event like LP had with JazyZ or even any LP concert, but was almost not possible for many reasons(my location, prices, cost of living, family issues, etc), so I never did....and for that I feel like one of the biggest mistake for me. Up to the now - you guys are still with me. My young relentless days have passed and never returning. Same, I guess, like LP never comes back the way it was before. Time to move on. Not necessarily accepting what had happened, but still keep marching forward. Mike, if you are reading this - I sincerely thank LP and You personally for my warm and cozy teenage memories and possibility to keep listening your songs at present. Even my 3 kids love some LP songs popping here & there ))...especially from Transformers series, so this is not only me, LP has "touched" now with your music...and from my honest opinion is a good sign...
Song above this post just proves that you, at least, started moving forward and doing it with dignity, grace and talent you have in your possession.

Dude, it's way more common than you think lol. If you got the resources and equipment (well, money) you can make a whole song by yourself extremely easily. Of course Mike's super talented but it doesn't come down to that at all.

Chester was a fuckin' vocal superhero, seemed like an amazing dude, and honestly I sometimes miss the guy as if I actually even knew him. That's how much his voice touched my life, and I know I'm not the only one who feels that... but Mike always was the heart and soul of it all, and it's incredibly cathartic to see him doing his thing so goddamn confidently. I loved Post-Traumatic a whole lot, but this right here is some other shit. Awesome song as always, Mike. Keep healing, cuz that blurry vision of the future you mentioned looks pretty damn killer to me. Just my two cents, anyway.

I can't tell you how many times I've listened to this song since it came out... I just realized it has been out for a month on UA-cam. I feel like I've known it for a while, like its a melody I held somewhere deeper down that has been fully realized. I always apologize, because when we translate something from English to Brazilian Portuguese, the translation always comes out strange, some things are inconsistent. So that's why, when I translate something from here to English, I always apologize, because I think something will be written wrong for you. hahahaha I don't have the necessary knowledge of English to be able to write a sentence of that length on my own, nor the ability to converse, I can just read and identify what it's about, for example I know what you wrote without needing to copying and translating ends up being a skill that we pick up on a daily basis, because for a long time, games and manuals were entirely in English, and we needed to make do with what we had.

Recently I my girlfriend of 2 years who was also my bestfriend for more than 4 years broke up with me, there were many reasons but I had hurt her in a lot of ways. Wasn't able to come to terms with it all for the past month or so.

Doesn't even have to be the same band name if you are looking to preserve LP as always having been you all and Chester. I just miss hearing you all play. Music for me has always been therapy and where my creative zen flows from. We all miss Chester everyday, but it would be great to see you all continue on in his honor in some form.

The words "It's Already Over" can be used so many different ways. But to me, this song tells me to stop looking back at the bad. I have to keep moving forward. I don't forget what's been done, but I also have to press on, no matter what.

Hey Mike,
I've been a fan since 2003 and listened to all of your and LP's music forwards and backwards. Somehow, you always put into words what I feel at any given time. Post Traumatic came out during a time where I was grieving a family friend and listening to your music helps me cope and heal. Since then, I go back to the whole album whenever that wave comes back in. Thank you for all you've done and continue to do, you are a true inspiration and a genuine person who deserves all the happiness in the world.

This one got me wondering how hard it must be to walk in any of the LP guys' shoes even after this years. Specially for Mike since he's the frontman, spokesman etc. [...]["well, thank you, genius..."]
When it comes to things past "that day", "every meaning changes shape". Don't know if the song is about the band's future, since so many people still asks Mike for new stuff and shows and tours...if so, IMHO the answer is lying between the lines. Maybe it can be about grieving processes, maybe in relation to Chester's loss and/or the effects on the band and the guys.
Maybe it has absolutely nothing to do with Linkin Park, and even being a fan, if that's the case I would be happy. The very fact that the man keeps writing amazing new stuff makes me happy.
Every Mike's new song I instinctively and unconsciously connect with LP in some way, and I feel kinda guilty for doing that and think I should stop and probably will some day. We all should stop.
Still to this day I see people demanding so much and so badly from the guys, specially from Mike, like he owes people something. As if the band personally came and begged people to be their fans in the first place. That's not the case. To the people who are still selfishly demanding LP from Mike and the guys: find another place to feed your greed. Enjoy the new stuff without asking everytime for the old, don't be so selfish...people want it at all costs and think it would be awesome, but what if the guys don't feel the same?
Leave them be and make their decisions and create their art, enjoy and support that. It seems the guys are all doing well, Mike is doing well, this new song is great and we as fans should feel happy for that alone.
I agree. He never asked for the fans he has. He just made music that resonated with us and we began bobbing our heads to his music and enjoyed it. He has a gift he is using to the fullest.

I love you Mike and you are an amazing musician and singer, but damn when listening to something like this, there's that constant feeling in the back of your head, that Chester will come in and sing or surprise you with a scream, but he never does. I think we can all agree, that we miss him dearly, and that Chester and Mike are really good separately, but together they just created fucking magic like none other could do.
