Gum Disease - A patient's perspective

The BSP is extremely fortunate to have its own Patient Forum - a group of volunteers, from diverse communities, who regularly meet to share their experiences and ideas. Their aim is to help shape the future of gum health in the UK.
Taking the time to listen to patients is crucial and helps us gain an understanding of the patient experience. We value their perspective on the impact periodontitis has had on their life, their experience of treatment and the challenges they face. Hearing about their patient journey reminds us of the importance of our mission to improve care, research and awareness about gum health.
