제2차 세계대전 때 사용된 미국의 중폭격기 -
1934년 미 육군 항공대의 요청으로 보잉(The Boeing Company)이 육군의 차기주력 폭격기로 완성시킨 대형 4발기 모델 299이 B-17 폭격기의 원형이다. 이 모델은시험비행에서 좋은 성능을 보였으나 값이 지나치게 비쌌고, 당시로서는 크기가 너무크다는 이유 등으로 육군 항공대는 이것을 그대로 채용하지 않았다.
보잉은 다시 실용 시험기 Y1B-17 13기를 제작하여 시험비행을 계속하였다. 1938년 4월 29일 실시한 시험비행에서 Y1B-17A는 시속 500km의 고속을 내고 고도 9,140m의상공까지 올라가는 좋은 성능을 보였다. 그리하여 1939년양산형(量産型) B-17B 39기가 발주되었다.
이어서 1941년에는 엔진과 무장을 강화한 B-17C 38기, 방탄성을 강화한 B-17D42기가 개발되어 육군에 인도되었다. B-17C는 영국에 20기가 제공되어 유럽에서독일 공습에 참가하였다. 그 실전 경험을 토대로 다시 B-17E 512기가 발주되었다.
1941년 9월 5일 완성기의 첫 비행이 실시되었다. E형은 대형의 수직 꼬리날개, 동체꼬리 부분의 총좌(銃座) 등을 채용하는 등 형태를 크게 바꾼 것이었다. 태평양전쟁이 시작되었을 때 D형과 E형이 하와이, 필리핀 등지에 배치되어 있었다. 그러나 전투에 참가하기도 전에 대부분이 일본 공군의 기습폭격으로 지상에서파괴되었다. 유럽 전선에는 1942년부터 E형이 파견되어 8월 17일부터 첫 출격을시작하였다.
또한 1943년 1월부터는 3,405기의 B-17F가 실전에 투입되었고, 같은 해 12월에는 8,680기의 B-17G가 유럽 전선으로 보내졌다. 처음 설계도를 7번째로 변형시킨 B-17G는 최고 시속 462km로 1만 675m의 고도를 비행할 수 있는 과급기를 장착하고있었다. 모두 13대의 11mm 기관총이 곳곳에 장착되어 있었는데, 이 때문에 '나는요새'라는 별명을 얻었다. 이 비행기는 폭탄창에 2,724kg의 폭탄을 실을 수 있고, 날개 밑에 달린 폭탄걸이에는 더 많은 폭탄을 장착할 수 있었다. 보잉 외에 맥도넬더글러스(Mcdonnell Douglas Corporation)와 록히드(Lockheed Corporation)의공장에서도 B-17이 생산되었는데, 총생산 대수는 1만 2731대였다.
그 대부분이 미국 공군에 납품되어 B-24와 더불어 유럽 상공에서 폭탄을 투하하는주력 전략폭격기가 되었다. B-17은 많은 무기를 실을 수 있었기 때문에 매우효과적인 방어 전술이 개발되었다. 폭격을 진행하는 동안 B-17기들은 커다란 4각편대를 이루어 공격해 온 적의 전투기에 괴멸적인 교차사격을 퍼부었다. 그럼에도불구하고 매 출격시마다 B-17 편대는 그 10분의 1를 격추당하였다. 총 생산된 1만 2,731기 가운데 3분의 1이 제2차 세계대전 중에 격추되었다.

The error in this video is that the Germans did not use tracers. The Germans figured out early in the war that tracers had a drastically different trajectory than the live ammunition and therefore mislead the pilots relative to their aim. The US didn't figure it out until the Korean War.
afaik, for instance, MG 151 cannons of Bf.109 did have ammo with tracers.

The Tuskegee airmen made history during world war 2, they were the only flying corp in the United States Armed Forces to fly those planes & shoot down as many enemy aircraft while flying bomber escort for B-17 bombers, they had as many aces as well the many kills as any other flying corp in the USAF & British RAF flying corp.

Actually, they did in fact wear standardized M1 Infantry Helmets. However, due to discomfort and inability to wear headphones, they were upgraded to M3 Helmets to allow both headphones and comfort for all crew members.

332전투비행단 일명 터스키기에어맨
또는 레드테일즈 로도 불리우는 전투비행단인데 전원 흑인들로 구성된 전투비행단 이었다고 합니다.
1944년 2월에 편성이 되어 미공군 15사단에 배치 되어 이탈리아전선에서 싸우다가 p-51d 무스탕을 받고 난뒤 부터 폭격기 호위 임무를 담당 했었는데
대공포에 격추된 폭격기를 재외 하고는
격추된 폭격기가 거의 없다 시피할 정도로 완벽에 가까운 호위 임무를 수행 했었다고 합니다.
근데 이게 미국뽕이 차오를수 밖에 없는것이
레드테일즈의 전투기록을 보면
1578회의 호위 임무를 수행 하는 과정에서 15000소티 이상 출격 했었으며 독일 전투기는 112대를 공중격추 및 298대의 지상파괴를 했으며
600량 이상의 열차를 포함한 차량파괴가 900대이상이나 되며 구축함을 포함 해서
선박 격침수는 40여척에 달한다고 합니다.
게다가 최초의 제트전투기라 할수있는 me262를 3대나 격추시킨 기록도 있다더군요
그 영화에서도 p-40인가? 그걸로 열차를 폭파 시키는 장면이 나오는데 그렇게 폭파 시킨 열차 수가 600량 이라고 하니

Yes, a pilot in a P51 did actually do that aerobatic maneuver although it was greatly exaggerated in this scene and the g forces would rip the wings off and knock out the pilot

Только у одного, он его c tie-fighterа скрутил по-тихому, судя по маневру, а с другими афропилотами не поделился, они так не могут крутить свои Мустанги. От luftwaffe в бою участвуют, похоже или имбицилы или расисты, вместо того, чтобы валить крепости, - именно это и есть их боевая задача, они плюнули на бомберы и стали гоняться за истребителями.

Of course. The P-51 is a long range escort fighter. The bf l09 was a smaller regional fighter. Could turn faster.
@@georgehunter2813 . The added weight of extra guns on the Bf-109 actually affected maneuverability because of increased wing loading. The 109 also had trouble in a high speed turning climb to the right due to torque and propeller factors which caused a high speed snap stall. US pilots were trained by the veterans to take advantage of this. Plus the P-51 was superior in many aspects of maneuver except rolling rate, where the FW-190 excelled. (Source P-51 by William Hess)
As for it being a long range fighter, the p-38, P-51 and P-47s actually dumbfounded the German leaders. They simply could not believe these big, heavy planes can go deep into enemy territory, then slug it out on equal terms with the best German fighters, much lighter in weight. Perhaps experience with their own Bf-110 had something to do with it. The Bf-110 was referred to as "meat on the table" by US pilots.
@@Curtissaviation The BF 109 you describe is the late stage version configured to intercept and destroy big slow bombers. During the earlier Battle of Britain the 109 was in its original configuration and meant to counter the Spitfire on a fight for fighter to fighter dominance. Adding additional gunnage weigth was a distortion of the 109's original engineering fighter design.

Sad. This movie had hope. Complete bs. It was basically star wars in ww2. Non of this would have happened like this. And the air combat wouldn't be like this. Also. The Tuskegee didnt act like this. Look up their interviews. Even they calle all the inaccuracies in the movie out. Especially the prolog and empolog

지금 보기에 엔진은 불붙었고, 연료는 새고, 플랩이나 날개에 문제 있어보이는데 조종이 가능하던 불가능하던 저렇게 가다가 기체 공중폭발이 일어나거나, 엔진이 나가서 동력 상실로 추락할 것 같은데 뭔 조종이 가능해요. 그리고 적진 한가운데서 탈출하는 경우는 여러모로 많습니다. 적진 한가운데서 착륙하면 대부분 포로로 잡히거나, 사살되거나, 도망치기도 합니다.

물론 상황에 따라 못 구할때도 있겠죠.

Надо сказать что на этом этапе войны, американцы бомбили то в основном не военные объекты, а жилые районы, с целью подрыва морального и для устрашения, поэтому фильм о том как "плохие" немцы не давали убивать своих родных на земле, а "хорошие" афроамериканцы их победили, хотя "чёрные" и авиация.....

The BF 109 was a better dogfighter, the Mustang was a dive shoot and climb fighter, that was the advised and best used tactic. Dive shoot then out climb them untill they stalled worked well. Getting into a turning dogfight was best avoided.

Youre wrong again, and you literally chose the worst series to generalize the bf 109. You can generalize the p-51d because they all are pretty much the same, but thats not the situation for the bf and even less the G series.
Even then, top speed isnt everything important in a dogfight or is it that accurate (you also said 200km difference but based on what you said later its way less than 100km of difference). The 109 G-10 and K-4 had a faster top speed at 26k+ feet compared to the p51d for example, but at lower altitude this was different. Depending in the model the bf had different ammo with different sizes which would also have an effect on performance, theres also a bunch of other things such as climb rate or full turn time.
The only way for either the p51 or the bf 109 to win a dogfight against each other was to have the strategical advantage and/or have better pilots, the latter being the main reason why the p51 had it so easy against the bf109 since they had lost most experienced pilots and lacked proper training for the new ones.
