  • Our students probably have no idea what Blockbuster is, but why not take a moment to share a little history on how we rented movies and video games before Netflix, Hulu, and Disney + ?!
Another Steady Beat and Rhythm Play Along that allows students to practice playing the beat and various rhythms at different tempi.
This play along features rhythms: Ta, Ti Ti, Too, Rest (quarter, eighth, half note, and quarter rest) rhythms as well as Tam (dotted quarter note) during the last 2 excerpts which are in 6/8.

Good, but kids need more visual support...a bouncing ball or something. The beat isn't that apparent in some of these.

My special needs students love this! But it would be really helpful to have a bouncing ball or each square highlight. Any chance you could add that (and also to the Film Fest video)? Thanks! I do take the time to point at the squares before the count in, but my students are very familiar with following bouncing ball/highlights. My happy moment today...I have a non-verbal student who has not really participated this year and today she was "singing" along to the songs she knows :)

im sure this is great but i can't figure out how to fit the rhythm to pokemon. And Mario without drums, I'm not i feel the beat there either. Im a musician, but I'm not familiar with this music. Maybe that's the problem. Maybe my students could figure it out for me. I'd love for this to work for us!
