this entire album is hands down her best yet!!!! her voice is just as strong as it was in the 60's, 70s. the music is top notch!! She proves she can sing anything.. Appalachian, Gospel, Pop.. It's hard to pick a favorite they're all that good!!! In the pines is so haunting it give me chills.. Always on my mind is better than the original..and the duet with Willie is GRAMMY material!!!! I see a #1 in the future!!! Long live the Queen of Country!!

Just picked up my copy of Full Circle at Barnes & Noble and listened to it during my hour-long drive home. What a strong voice on a beautiful lady! One can feel the conviction of country roots that run real deep. And, at 83, the sap's still rising! Feel like I know the singer at least as well as I know my mom who idolized her; she went to her concerts while my dad was in Viet Nam and sang her songs to us children, after leaving us alone for days, with tears of longing and regret in her eyes -- oh that familiar far-away-look of sadness! And now, since 2006, she IS far away. But when I hear Loretta sing, It's my mama's voice I hear. Look, the Full Circle of life is dawning!

What I would give to meet this beautiful soul. Her and Patsy, were were a very big part of our childhoods. I have an 8x10 of pasty hanging above my bed. My granddaughter was pointing and asking, so I had to explain, the same way I was told. I'll find a picture one day of Loretta for my wall, just as I did Patsy.
