Banging video. I just got into They are gutting a body of water and I needed more info so naturally I combined their name and Fantanos into the search bar. He didn’t have anything on them at all, but then I found this video! Absolutely perfect for what I was looking for bro thank you for making this video
one of my favorite bands! a bit on the heavier side of shoegaze but nothing near Jesu or Angelic Process levels. Destiny XL is borderline perfect as an album imo. I would also recommend their split with Full Body 2 for anyone that liked “s” or electronic influence in general
Yea, I only call it shoegaze cause I know some people can relate those sounds to what I’m describing, but yes it is harder than shoegaze in many cases. I was going to mention the track Diamond Dallas Page from the Full Body 2 split (Full Body 2 will be getting a video here once they have enough material lol)

Whirr has made some great music (especially that split with Nothing), but they have been found as transphobes. Here at Forever Spinning, we support and champion trans rights, so I cannot justify promoting a band that wants to hurt the people we love. Otherwise, thank you for the suggestion! Man Whirr was one of the first bands to be cancelled heavily by twitter…now its common place. Glad they apologized and realized that was edgy shit no one wanted to hear. Ive forgave them since then
