Yeah my only criticism here man at some point my brain couldn't keep up, give yourself some time to breath but also the viewer a moment to take in your points lol
We've had Live Action adaptations before this which were a pretty mixed bag honestly, but yes, most of the Modern ones are just shit. The only exceptions offhand are Cinderella and Jungle Book, but they've had live action versions long before the current ones so Im not sure if that counts. Edit: The biggest problem the Live Action Bebop suffers from is that it's not Noir. Like, at all, and without that Noir foundation from the original, its just a modern action show wearing the costume of Bebop. THe first episode doesn't show it as much, but as the show goes on, its just *screams* Noir and its beautiful. And yes, the Live Action's comedy is fucking awful. I watched a scene where someone put in a laugh track, and it worked way too well.
No, they don't. People just love to do their internet "jokes". And hating on live action adaptations is one of their most beloved, and most used, jokes of all. Just look at the seperate comments and reviews for these movies and tv shows. They're always copy pasted messes that rarely ever talk about the actual movie/show; but instead just tackles common problems. Doesn't even matter if they're relevant, people will jump on that ship and copy/paste anyway. I mean, ffs, 8/10 have never even watched or read or bothered with the original, but are online giving lessons to professionals on how they should have made it? - _ - " The other 2/10 is devided in between: 1.75/10 bases their opinion on nostalgic thoughts because they're too lazy and too full of themselves to even consider that their idea is wrong And 0.25/10 that actually did watch/read the OG, are giving solid reviews, go into detail etc and 7/10 times they like the adaptation. But the worst, and most common misconception is the phrase "live action adaptation". More notably, the word: adaptation. Which 99% seem to think that it means "100% perfect copy". I urge those 99% to go out and buy a dictionairy. Because clearly Google failed you if you, after decades of live action adaptations, still don't know what "adaptation" means. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
sorry i talked fast it was to the point where if i spent another second reading the script i wouldve killed myself so my bad
