As a kid playing this game, I always assigned specific rangers to specific stages. Stage 1 being the start and Billy being the 'weakest' of the team physically, I always have him start things up. Stage 2 I had Zack, the dancing through the forest and the axe in the industrial buildings, with the axe slash on the boss was always hype. Stage 3 Trini as she seemed to make the most sense being the smallest, means going though the sewers works for her. Stage 4 Kim, the range of her bow length, seeing the arrows on the elevator, and it being a sky stage just screamed for Kim. Stage 5 has to be Jason, being the leader and doing the final stage was just fitting for him. And I think the developers intended for you to each give a ranger a stage, it being 5 stages before Megazord time. It was just awesome, it really made you feel like a Power Ranger.
Stage 1: Kimberly/ Jason Bow vs sword or sword vs sword Stage 2: Zack Heavy weapon vs heavy weapon Stage 3: Billy I like his weapon animation for this boss Stage 4: Trini Trini looks so cool in this stage Stage 5: Kimberly/ Jason Kimberly can destroy computers easily. Or Jason, sword vs sword again.
It's kind of weird how the blackface just completely went over some people's heads when this game came out. I never realized it was THIS BAD, holy crap. 💦
I understand, I'm a game programmer too. There are many extensive games on super nintendo, such as final fantasy VI and Chrono Tigger. I still think they took the easy route by not creating other animations for the characters with different graphics.
It's funny how a teenage girl transforms into a Rock when she puts on a costume.
And she has no trouble wrecking dozens of buff dudes even in her teenage girl form
I think they just recolored the red ranger.
@@mdudegamerthat's exactly what they did and it's a damn shame they didn't make unique sprites for the Rangers' outfits.
To be honest, the pink and yellow stuntmen were also guys

Wow, I had the same thought process as you lol
Amy Jo Johnson was one of the babes of the 1990s. She actually knows how to do gymnastics. Good time bud!!
"Too much Pink Energy is dangerous!" Zordon
Power rangers: Kimberly's Quest
Amazing soundtrack… brings back so many childhood memories ❤️
They just didn't give af when it came to Zack's portrayal here
as in how?
@@TheCrimsonTruthYouCantHandle ask your mom
@@TheCrimsonTruthYouCantHandle Zack was a black ranger and his actor, Walter E. Jones was black(African)
Third boss attempted a Missingno. cosplay
every single stage has iconic music in this game.
I wish they'd given Zack a ranged attack, it always felt weird to be slapping people with the bow.
Zach has an axe
that is also clearly a cannon in the show that he used sereral times. Him and Kim have the best weapons@@TheCrimsonTruthYouCantHandle
Once that final scene comes on with all the Rangers together, its just..........WOW. What happened there LOL
It's kind of weird how the blackface just completely went over some people's heads when this game came out. I never realized it was THIS BAD, holy crap. 💦
most asian devs back then dont give a crap about racial sensitivity unless it burns a hole in their wallets.
You suck
6:47 All those backflips just to wait for platforms XD I LOVE IT! It's the Power Rangers way, can't sit still for a single second.
Why was the sewer boss glitched? 😲
Would've been nice to see more Ranger variety.
WOW I never noticed how they used blackface models for Zach. OUCH.
How racially designed I know.
Kimberly's been juicing!
🤣 I forgot that they wear ••••ing trenchcoats.
25:18 ....they could get away with so much in the 90's lol
They could because it was no holds barred. Every race, class, and profession got slammed. It's so much fun to get roasted!
i wanna c some different power rangers 4 this speedrun cus am guessing kimberly is most optimal cus of the bow
wow just realized, there's no map exploit in this game.
Hold on, is that Pandora Palace on the sign in the final boss area?
Bandora. That was Rita's name in the Zyurangers show.
@@CricketDynamo720 The lettering doesn't look like a B though?
the way the third boss looked lol
The sound is so crisp in this game, no Nintendo game had anything like it.
there were plenty of nintendo games that had better soundtracks
Wooow. I love this game... and trini where are you🤔🤔 🇩🇴👍
Trina*
The last name was Lydia.
If you really wanna know, she was killed in a car crash in 2001. Always wear your seat belt, kids.
trini is originally always present in this game on the left corner, all dress in yellow
Why does she look so buff
Because it's just the red ranger, recolored to be pink. At the very least, that's what they did with the helmet.
Oh, that’s actually pretty funny lmao
Power Rangers the Movie game did the same. Adding the skirt would've been fine at the very least.
A slightly faster time than the previous run, but can he do it in 20 minutes??
U got a prefect 😂😂❤😂😂
23:11
Not bad.
However, it would be more interesting on the maximum difficulty and using only Jason.
Kimberly has more range than other characters.
What I don't like about these snes power rangers is that when they transform, they only change the color palette, they are all the same.
It is called memory limit and space saving when programming
