Drakengard 3 ALL CUTSCENES
Prequel to Drakengard 1, but It doesn't really feel like. I wish they would have explained it better.
Combat is better, voice actors are awesome (Tara Platt, Yuri Lowenthal, Liam O'Brien), Chapter selection is back again, etc.
Played on Playstation 3.

The first cutscene is still the best in the franchise.
All the budget went to that cutscene
You mean the censored
I wish a lot of the cutscenes were like that it’s so gorgeous 💖💖💖💖😆😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻
jesus those knights all popped like tomatoes
Damn, if only they could've evened out the budget between the first cutscene and the rest of the game
Yeah that cgi first cutscene was lit this would be good for at least a 2hour movie or something
Some Call of duty do high quality pre-rendered scenes, and becomes annoying after a while to be honest.
Doing cinematics with the same game quality makes those transitions more natural, specially when you have a lot of them
Her nightmares of having had lost Michael, along with her DLC’s statement of “I will be with you soon” when she was narrating at the end let’s us all know of how she had grown to actually value and love him.
And the fact that she prefers to act tough instead of tell Mikhail the truth about everything is really sad, even though her doing so and breaking his young heart would also be sad
It would also make sense that she would fall in love with Michael and Mikhail instead of any human beings. She was sold into prostitution at a young age, and had obviously not fallen in love with the servants of the other Intoners.
That would also shed light into why she waits to be with Michael in any afterlife that waits for them, he and Mikhail were and are the only true companions she ever had.
Talk about a relationship that transcends sex
Gabe Michael is still alive, dragons don’t really die in Drakengard, instead reincarnating. Michael will live forever, as Mikhail and many more dragons to come, less he use the dragons wish for something else
@@shadedergu9921 Just like Caim and Angelus in the end. A love that doesn't necessary end in sex
Dragons get one wish. They usually use it to reincarnate and not truly die. However, by wishing for the death of Gabriel, and in the other timelines not having time, Michael/ Mikhail died for real.
Five's VA really went ham on that crab-eating scene
I choose to believe in Accord’s feeling.
Keeps me from dropping into a depressed funk.
As much as I enjoy and invest in a sad story… I always wish for that happier end.
I just think it feels right for the characters that bear so much to have at least something at the end.
Beautifully said!
I want a remake of this game so bad. The gameplay is alright but the character lines and story is really good.
Same I really wanna play it :/
Still completely playable on the PS3 emulator :D
@@fabiosarts but don’t you wanna see them in HD? Lol
@@psychiotic0319 indeed, that would be awesome :D
but in the meanwhile, all we can get it's Drakengard in 1080 or 4k, which doesn't look that bad, compared with the original 720p graphics and FPS issues :)
@@fabiosarts and hopefully get jiggle physics lmao
Hilarious 4th Wall Break:
21:06 (Snowy Mountain scene)
2:47:45 (Ending D scene) [more touching than hilarious]
in case anybody wants those markers to explain to their friends why this game was pretty interesting and hilarious~
I like when the characters wait to speak they don’t just stand completely still, they move around a bit and blink and move their head. It’s so satisfying and a great touch!!
DG3 is the perfect example of a game that's better to watch than to play
Asuras wrath as well from what I heard
not really, the gameplay is really good and the interactions between characters in-battle make the story so much more impactful
I really feel bad for cent and two, especially after the prologue.Guy basically lost the love of his life and forced himself to be a bad guy onwards because he felt guilty.
I fricken love Dito sneezing when Octa finds them
wait did the game censor itself?
Yes it did for out-of-japan market
Oh i thought it was a yoko taro joke where the game comically censors scenes
It actually is: the game's censored in Japan in the same places. Basically, the writers felt like they'd gone a little overboard with Dito's dialogue, and Zero was stabbing Five just a liiiiiiiitle too close to the cooch, so they added in that gag.
Ok so like how No More Heroes had that sped up dialogue full of messed up shit like molestation and incest while Travis is shocked as shit
@@PopfulFrost nop, the game in Japan doesn't have all that censoring, it's only for out of Japan market
30:45 Zero can't have nice things
her pushing away the The End screen, this game is great
You kinda feel bad for Four until you hear her story lol.
What's her backstory?
Never mind lmao
@Harold Jenkins It was four for me until the elves. Didn't know she was a race racist lol.
@Harold Jenkins for me One too. She's clever and wanted to do something despite her cursed role... The Uthaime Five manga gives her a lot of Justice
@@TreySides imaging trusting Elves
When you’re an hour in and the game has already finished but there’s almost 2 hours left of the video: *NONONONONO, I SENSE DAAANGER*
Ikr
It's hard to feel bad for Dito, but damn. No wonder he fucking hated Five so much. Also that crab was definitely rotten.
I just realized, the dragons are named after Angels.
five’s voice at 11:46 : 😈😏💋
five’s voice at 11:59 : 🗣️🗣️📢
Five's voice at 1:27:50 : 😩
I see Edelguard really hate Dragons.
That’s a kek from me.
So ending A is like, the basic ending, everything works more or less like Zero wants but things still don't quite come out right.
Ending B is, well more or less happy for Zero and Mikhail at least, but unsatisfactory because the Disciples all die.
Ending C is just everything going to shit.
Ending D is the depressive but kinda wholesome ending.
2:46:33 "It's a secret to everybody!"
Was that... was that a legend of zelda reference??
LOL!
2:47:56 Accord not only controls time, She can Also break the fourth wall.
So, Questions. How could One die from being impaled, and Three die from what One did to her. How could Zero die from the poison? I thought intoners could only die by a dragon or dragon based weapon. Also, in the other branches, why wouldn't Zero just impale herself with her sword in the end when Mikael died? Lastly, how did Two lose her mind?
Alex K I may have a few answers to some questions not all. Zero didn’t die by poison she created the first pact ever with mikhail. If she tried to kill herself with her sword the flower would’ve known and do the same process over again. That’s how this all started...Zero knew the flower was bad tried to kill it by killing herself but instead the flower knew and made 5 sisters. Hence why she’s trying to kill all of them.
I think two lose her mind while Zero was healing, because in two's DLC two took care of some orphanage but then Cent used her song to try to protect the orphanage but instead, the soldiers became some kind of monsters, and when she realized that those monsters were her soldiers she started to feel guilty because she thought they were in that state because of her song, and because of her, then she got to the orphanage because she was worried about the children, but the children were no longer there, there was just an homunculus, but the homunculus started to speak and Two heard her name, so she thought that the homunculus was the children, so during the fight, the homunculus say stuff that reminded her that she's killing the children she once raised and loved.
When she killed the homunculus (the children), she start to ask for help to Cent.
And that's how Two lose her mind
I think...
@@davidbustos5314 actually it's implied that it was Three's doing. Two sent the children and the soldiers to Chatedral City because she had to take care to some soldiers invading her land, but at Chatedral City Three was experimenting on Soldiers, One didn't even know about this.
Honestly, it seems like those questions about the way One and Three died in Branch B are just unanswerable, and have to be chalked up to a plothole.
EDIT: Now, that I think about it, it seems like One was impaled on one of the same weapons which the Titans wield. It is technically possible that they are tipped with dragon fang... but then Zero would have had actually died when she got skewered with one just earlier, so unless it was a really unique Titan's spear, it still does not make sense.
For me, though, another interesting question is where all the other dragons were. Michael's novella makes references to both Angelus and Legna, so they are both clearly around, but if so, how did they miss the emergence of the Flower in the two years since it was around? Granted, Gabriella is also a dragon and she clearly did not suspect anything wrong with the Intoners, but she may just be too young in dragon age. In Michael's memories, at least, Angelus and Legna are both portrayed as older and more knowledgeable than Michael, so there is no way they wouldn't have known what the Flower would do: were they just on the other side of the world, or something? Then again, Michael's novella also implies he had various human riders for something like hundreds of years, when according to the Drakengard timeline, none of the magic and dragons arrived there until 865, 150 years before the events of 3, so it's possible Michael met Angelus and Legna in parallel universes, and they were still stuck there at the time, or something.
EDIT2: I now think that the "parallel universe" explanation is the most likely, and it helps to explain Ending C of the original as well. After all, Drakengard 3 shows that dragons become more powerful when they consume Intoners, and Intoners were made by the Flower, which itself comes from the Watchers. Thus, when Manah, who had the power of the Watchers concentrated within her, got eaten by a dragon in C, that allowed dragon-kind to absorb so much energy that they were able to cross over into this world in their millions. (After all, same power allowed Watchers themselves to cross over when it was let loose with Manah's death in D and E.)
Finally, soldiers losing their minds in Two's Prologue is definitely all on her song, since we see the same thing occur to them in Branch C.
Yeah and in the last ending Zero consumed the flower power from her sisters to evolved into the final boss. I thought the dragon do that. So who's the one eating the intoner?
Can someone explain to me why Zero was so hell bent on killing all her sisters.
On the brink of death, Zero was infected againsy her will by a magical flower, that would eventually take over her and proceed to kill humanity.
She previously tried to kill herself to stop it, but as a defense mechanism, the flower gave birth to five sisters with her same powers, who would also eventually suffer the same fate. But the only one who knew this beside Zero is One, who doesn't trust Zero to be the one to get rid of the flower.
The only way to get rid of the flower for good is with a dragon.
Play the game? Or watch someone play it?
I will assume you watched the video, so here I go:
All Intoners are at risk of losing themselves to the flower and destroy the world, what exactly that means we see in Ending D when the flower finally blooms.
Zero is at fault for creating her 'sisters' in the first place, as that was the flowers doing when she first attempted to kill herself to avoid destroying the world.
As such, she sees it as her responsibility to take care of the problem and take them all out. If she doesn't the world is doomed, which is exactly what she wanted to avoid.
The flower is a tool for the human-eating babies of Drakengard 1 to enter Earth. Each Intoner has a fragment of the flower.
So if Zero is fatally injured, the flower turns her inside out???
King Delta Productions I guess in a way to regenerate
Spoiler the five peace’s of the flower stem are inside the sisters
But she still needs a robotic arm after regeneration?
@@karson1214 The Intoner can be truly damaged by a dragon's attacks. Weapons made of dragon parts/souls can damage them. That's why her arm doesn't regenerate, and that's why she "hides" that fact from Mikhail.
@@RikuNoctis Yeah man figured that out couple weeks ago. But still, thanks for clearing it up.
34:58 lmao fourth wall break
Game said you go from having a big strong dragon to being a single mom to one
zero , my god she says fuck it. lets just use common sense and not video game logic XD not taking any of the bullshit with game puts here thought
geez Five...calm down
I still listen to Kuroi Uta regularly
Why does she look so much like Robin from Fire Emblem Awakening? *gets shot*
_Same for me. XD Zero for Smash Bros. Oh wait... we got Robin (Pink or White skin)._
Tara Platt voices Zero and Edelgard from three houses (in fact she voiced a whole lot of characters)
Lauren Landa voices One, which is the voice of robin

Cent and Two's story is just gut wrenching...
I came here because i heard Edelggard swaer a lot, i clearly wasn't prepared for it :O
Who’s the boy at the end with the dragon? Is that supposed to be referencing the other drakengard games?
You mean Brother One?
@@descendeus9679 Right at the end, Michael apparently had another friend he lost.
Doubt it specifically refere to anything in the two Drakengards. It is somewhat similar to Caim's meeting with it's Red Dragon, but that's about what I know.
This game is so confusing
Hope this series get remake one day
Zero just trying to save the world!
How dare you skip the Final Song.
I remember in the first game one of the endings were similar to the last level of this game
@Kira Diaz I believe so too but one thing is puzzling me is that dragon from the first game related to the dragon we see now

Ironically it’s the opposite for me.
I stopped hearing just ‘Edelgard’ every time I hear Tara Platt voice someone.

So does this mean the Intoners caused Nier?
Yes.

I appreciate how u make it quick but u could’ve done the same for the little dialogue and skip the boring parts to show more characterization

🗣I HAYE FIVE SO MUCH SHE IS THE WORST CHARACTER OF ALL TIME
Thanks for this shorter version. I tried to get through the longer version you posted, but the dialogue in this game is so bad. There's no lore, it's just sex joke after sex joke.
You clearly didn't play and neither read manga, concerts or anything else related.
Maybe these games arent for you since YT said he doesnt care about lore at all, only about exploring themes and evoking complex emotions.

I LIKE THAT GIRL 😍❤ I love Zero
The cinematic and voice don't match
It's because the characters are speaking in Japanese
The Characters speaking technically Japanese, so the English version is sometimes out of line, shouldn't be a big deal.
this to me was a far cry from how good Drakengard 1 was.....kinda to much anime cringe
After watching this again since first playing it a few years ago... I still can not like this game... The change in tone compared to the other Drakengard games is just too distracting... Humour is awful... Main character is horrible and completely unlikeable... Story is boring and confusing... Not saying the other 2 games were flawless but this is just a huge step down
yeah i can agree on the humor, its so awkward
Guys why zero do not have a song why she can not sing like the others
She technically does have the "Intoner Mode" mode during combat, when she becomes much more powerful and the level's theme gets added vocals - i.e. she begins singing.
Otherwise, though, the Intoners' Song is a *bad* thing because it is what will ultimately destroy the world, so it makes sense that she does not want to sing.
