Nah it's not low-fi, as cool as that'd be. Lo-fi is often sampled jazz songs then the mids and lows are eq'd out to make room for the sub frequencies. Then add rap acapella, (eq out the lows and mids), and add some trap drums and percussion. And in a nutshell that's Lo-fi.
i guess it doesn't exactly use samples but to me it almost feels as it does
it uses a lot of jazz elements and progressions with synthesized version of staple instruments almost (idk how to describe them otherwise as chimes and like piano -ish)
and then we for sure have that percussion and trap drums
so idk, to me this music gives the vibes of lo-fi
there are guidelines for genres, but music is such freelance i guess it can depend
