Many of you have been asking the ages of Jared's siblings so here they are;
Ryan was born in 1976, Nate -1981, Melanie -1982, Matt - 1983, Jared - 1988 and Jenn was born in 1990. Love from one proud Momma.
What amazing siblings I have huge regrets that I don't have a close relationship with two of my 3 sisters now as a mom my own three kids are extremely close.

I have been a "silent" viewer since a little bit before you became pregnant with Calvin and I have not missed a vlog since. This video, along with Ellie's sibling Q&A were both among my favorites. I'm in my 20s now, but I grew up an only child. Even my cousins have a significant age gap between myself and them. Don't get me wrong, I am beyond thankful for my family but it was pretty lonely growing up. These video's make me wish I had siblings more than ever. The bond you and Ellie both have with your siblings is so amazing to watch. I love so much watching videos like these as well as seeing Jackson and Calvin interact with all of their cousins. It gives me a sense of the family bonds that I never really had. So thank you for continuing to share your lives with us. Your videos are always something I look forward to after coming home from work every day.

Jared, while I am certain you will never in a million years see this comment I just wanted to say this video really inspired me. I am a mother of 5 young children and often times I am overwhelmed by the sheer struggle of keeping these kids happy and thriving while my Husband works tirelessly to provide for us. Right now, it is so HARD and most days filled with struggles. Seeing the sweet bond between all of your siblings really puts things into perspective for me. I get so caught up in the logistics of running a large family but hearing funny stories about putting lotion on the floor to go skiing makes me realize everyday I am stressed and worrying is my kids memories and childhood! Thank YOU!!! What a lovely family you have!

Where I come from it is few and far between - having 5 kids is seen as "crazy" :-) Your family is truly something to be proud of!!
+Heather Parshall-Manley I really wish Ellie and Jared would make videos about their parenting and about how they plan to raise their children and make sure they turn into good human beings. It just seems like they know some secrets we don't. They were raised to have this amazing bond with their siblings and it's gotta be something their parents just did right.
I thought the same thing! I have seven children (same parents, by choice, aged 17 yo-4 mos) and am so lost in the mire of the work right now! Seeing this gave me hope that they will turn out ok and love each other! I cried right along with everyone else!!! Good job mama! I'm encouraged and inspired that it'll all be ok.

I LOVE this! What a special bond you all have. This is so helpful to watch as we are sleep deprived with 6 kids 6yrs and under. It's moments like this that keep me going, and looking forward to whats to come.

I loved this! I only have one brother but siblings are such a blessing, they act as a person you can lean on and count on when mom and dad aren't around and the only people you can relate to as you were growing up. You guys will definitely cherish this video forever!
Growing up with only one sibling, seeing families like yours and Ellie's really makes me want to have 4 or 5 kids!! There couldn't be anything better than a huge family, that's all I want it live!

Jared I think the thing I admire most about you as a viewer is the way you look at your family. In every video it is clear that you have the utmost amount of love and respect for Ellie, and the utmost amount of love for Jackson and Calvin. I swear those boys are lucky to have such an incredible man as their father, and Ellie as her husband.
this made me 100% sure that i will have as many kids as i get blessed with (ofcourse there is a limit but that limit comes when it comes) i grew up with one brother 2 years older then me, and i really only had one friend all my life though no matter what. but if me and my brother ever fought i didnt have a thired or forth sibling to sort of help us fix or help us see that family matters more. we sort of drifted apart from when i was 14 intill now when im 20 and i now i regret it because i only have one sibling and i lost 6 years of having a sibling just because i got mad over something i dont remember.
its wonderful to see that you guys are so close and i want my children to be as close

I love this. I wish my family was this close again. I'm the youngest out of my siblings. There is 5 of us total. Please don't let death, money, materials, etc ever get in between you and your siblings. I say this with tears in my eyes because what you all have is what I used to have with them. It can happen so fast without you realizing it. I know you Jared wont ever let it happen even if you're miles apart from them. I loved watching this and hope you can all do this again every year and reflect on that past year. :)

I am not a crier... but I definitely shed a few tears here...
My roommate's older brother was killed a few months ago and watching this makes me so sad for her, that her and her 2 other siblings will never have a chance to make a video or have a conversation like this. She never got to see him be the best dad ever (he was engaged), never got to meet her nieces and nephews.
I know I don't have to tell you this, but cherish this Jared! See how sincerely special it is that you can do this.
