We don't normally post on this day/time but just wanted to update you guys with what is going on here. We can't go to work, we can't get anywhere, but we are ultimately safe and sending all of our love to those who are not. We will see what the coming weeks/months bring.
I know the feeling. At 63 yrs old, I've been in a situation or two. Just remember things will get better, They always have. Stay safe you two and don't rush things. Don't dwell on the past, the future is what to work on. I mean, after all, the future is where you will spent the rest of your life .
Hi Nick and Raychel - (from Ontario here) We came across your video (accidentally but luck), while trying to find out about Chilliwack during this disastrous flood. Thank you for posting such excellent coverage - what unbelievable stress for you both- wow! This must seem so surreal. Back in 1948, during the last deadly flood in BC, a 10 year old relative of mine, from Chilliwack, drowned when he was swept off the bridge into the Fraser - one of the many deaths from that long-ago flood. Seems history is repeating.... So glad you're both safe.
Im so sorry but glad you are safe. People are crazy by panic buying. It reminds me of when covid lockdowns happened here in Western Australia. Love to you both. X
hi there first time watching your channel will watch more definitely. ye i live in mission n it was devastating for many for sure n still is for sumas prairie n on the highways further. none of us expected this at all. rain is rain but this was crazy. hope you are all safe as i am writing this on jan 23rd 2022 love love love
I was wondering about you guys. On the 20th, a friend of mine (never actually seen him but we've been blog friends and then Facebook/Twitter friends since 2002) who was stuck in Chilliwack reported that he was safe and moved out to Kamloops. Heard that there was one death but not sure how many are still affected.
Thank you for thinking of us, the aftermath of the flooding is still massively affecting the community as many have been displaced from their homes and we still don't have direct access to Abbotsford. So for us mostly it's gotten in the way of us getting to work (this was our last week) and a bit of disruption in our travel plans ... only minor inconveniences for us personally in the grand scheme of things. Our hearts are out to the people who have lost acres and acres of farmland and their livelihoods, possessions, and some even their lives
Hope they can fix the roads soon for you so people can get food and gas in. Great plan to tour America. I've never been in a natural disaster but sending Love to you.
Morning ☀️ on my side This rain and storm is actually everywhere. It has been raining like crazy even here that's why I prefer winter season more even though they so cold. And the network would be so terrible.

So glad that you guys are safe, and so sorry to hear about this 🙁
Thank you, we are - and hope it will be ok soon
Stay safe. Hope things return to some sort of normalcy soon and we are spared from any more extreme weather this season.
Thank you so much and for checking in on Instagram. We love this province and pray to see some relief soon.

Thank you for your comment Jane, we are safe. I can only imagine that the pain of that loss still lingers in your family.
Please stay safe. Happy birthday to Nick.

Wow, People really went bonkers buying all the groceries ! Stay safe !
Right? Even after many announcements saying our supply chain will be just fine and urging not to panic buy. Gah!

Totally. ❤️ hope you are well over there!
Health is happiness. Research our flat and stationary geocentric earth to fill your hearts with joy and perspective. Nice video, TY.
...it's time we lobby Federal Government and insurance companies to cease funding these areas that no longer are liveable.🤓
