This year 1984, I was an eleven years old living with my great grandma in Gbonota, Bong county. My very first time to listen to music was 1993 in gbarnga City in my late girl friend room ( Theresa Garmei Flomo) may her soul rest in peace. I lost my very first love. However, Mrs Watta Kpissay Kollie replaced her. This is a memory song for me.
I still play these songs, helps me have a balance view of contemporary folk Liberian music, our Bassa music and what we listen to today, despite the advancement in musical technology that has give today 's musician the leverage, I can proudly say that music in the past still stand up tall.
1985 when my family moved into our house up God Blessed you Hill in Buchanan and my Dad bought our stereo set. This was the first music that my Dad played. Many decades ago but it is still serving the purpose. LEGENDTOREMEMBER

Caesar Gator, a gifted and blessed musician. He’s one of my favorite musicians. This period in Liberia was my best memory as an nine year old girl and two years later I came to the states. I will always love my Liberian music.
Hi Victoria. Hola from Spain. Can you, please, say to me more artists and bands from Liberia of those ages and modern times you know? Thanks in advance, Gracias. Big hug. David
@@afrikakana8652 Good morning David. I’m glad that you responded to my comment. Nimba Burr and Fatu Gayflor were other musicians during that era. Hope that help.
