Ryan you said you didnt want this to be a 3 hour video BUT id love a 3 hour carving video from you guys. To me this is my version of relaxation/ASMR lol
HAHA maybe we'll do an unedited project eventually. You'll probably be the only one that watches the whole thing though HAHA
I’d probably watch the 3 hour version too 🤣
Agreed
That turned out SO nice!!! I'm sure Joel and Bailey will love it! Great tip on how to do the cut out corners.
Thanks Lori!
Looks great. A good rule for the ROS, don’t add anymore pressure to the sander other than just the weight of your hand. This will keep it level and from sanding at a slant.
Great tip! Thanks Scott👍👍
Thats my shirt! Semper Fi
😂😂😂 thank you for your service 🇺🇲🇺🇲
Awesome ! I have a buddy getting married soon may try making them a sign ! Really enjoy your videos !!
Thanks Stacey! Let us know how it comes out👍👍
Beautiful design and workmanship ❤
Thanks you👍👍
Excellent design layout! Every wedding needs a hand carved sign! ❤️
Thanks Miss Carmen!
Great job Ryan!
Thanks Richard!
Great to see guys carving and showing how to work the router and the type of bits to use.
Thanks man!
👍👍👍.Thanks Ryan
Any time!👍👍
Nice looking sign 🎉
Thanks buddy!
Nice sign. I think they will appreciate it for a long time.
Thanks Tim, they loved it!
great job Ryan!!
Thanks Carrie!
well done Ryan
Thanks Burt!
Very impressive.
Thanks Mark!
Nice work! I wish I could find redwood. Nobody sells it around me.
No kidding? We get ours from Lowe's or Home Depot
Great job! As for the corners, I built a jig just like Dave did for just that purpose. It works very well on the drill press with a 2 inch circular blade. His jig must be in your shop somewhere. I think it would be better for you. Just sayin!
I'll have to look for that bad boy! HAHA
Nicely done sir!
Thanks Greg!
Nice job 🤘🤘🤘
Thanks Dan!
REMEMBER ALWAYS HOLD THE LINE! Hey did you glue 3 2x6,s together ? great video
Yeah, those are the redwood deck 2X6's from home depot
Nice sign!
PS. Did you forget the date?
Thanks buddy! No, we decided not to put the date on purpose
I like the style of the font and the heart. What font was used?
can't remember the name of that font, but it was a script that was in rapid resizer
how did you draw out the letters? are they on an angle, and what font? great sign.
We used Rapid Resizer to lay it out with the arc. I'm not sure what the font is, but I think it's on Rapid Resizer
Looks great. What do you use to mark your signs? Been wanting to get something for my projects.
Thanks
Brett Burton
We usually use our layout templates. You can check them out at makeawoodsign.com
I should have specified, for your business name. Do you have a branding iron?
@@saltlakeutdriver2462 oohh ok. I used to have a stamp that I used but it would smear. I like the branding iron, but we don't have one. Honestly, just recently have we started making more commission work so we might get one
How long did it take you to carve the whole sign? And how long did it take to make the whole sign all together?
All together it was around 2.5 hours I'd say
Thats not bad!! Good job on the sign!! Looks awesome!
I wonder if its worth making sample stock signs with business name on back and give them out as business cards.🤔 Right it off advertising.
I don't see why not. I think that's a great idea👍👍
U wearing that Marine T shirt RU military?
No, I never served. I just like that short cuz it hides my fat belly😂😂
@@oldave100 I’m fat too my man
