- A 1950 International Metro Van is the creation of PJ Burchett..While driving down a country road he spotted it rotting in a field ...... Exceptionally "sweet" ice cream truck! I love that you took a very dilapidated old van, and hand-fabricated so much of the sheet metal to build it into an even stronger and better built coach, than it was, originally. Very nicely done.

Love it so kool. Back in High School I had a 1950 Abbots milk truck made by divco. I had it all jazzed up as my play wagon on wheels. 1970 was a blast. Also built a 1950 Chevy panel van into my party wagon in 1975. Ah the good old days.

Back around 1973 I owned a business building custom slide-in pickup campers and we built out the inside of one of these vans for a guy. The rest of it was totally stock. He lived and traveled in it, making his way by sharpening knives, hair clippers and scissors.

Hello. Just saw this truck at the Goodguys show at Nissan Stadium in Nashville Tenn. 5/4/19. Showed it to my wife and she said she has to have it ..I told her there ain't no way?
