I made the first move with my boyfriend with the help of a good friend. If I didn’t we probably wouldn’t be together. However, he was the one who asked me out for the first date. I also was bold and straight out told him that if we’re going to continue dating, he has to accept that I go to school and that my studies are a priority. The reason why I said that was because my last relationship, he never really understood why I had to study, or why I couldn’t see him, etc when he told me that he would totally understand. Nope. That was a big lie. And I pretty much wasted my time with him for almost 5 years. Thankfully my boyfriend now understood and even MADE me study when I didn’t feel like studying. We’ve been together for 2 years and still going strong.
