Ive been on dilla Since Fuck the police (Im 19), and im still runnin' into dilla beat i ain't heard yet.. haha thats a great refreshing feeling haha.. RIP M. Jackson & J. Yancey
@XtraClipz not really turning this into an argument, more emphasising my point. As I said. Your implication and others we're that I was mistaken, when it's debatable as to whether I'm not. Your stressing that prompted my sarcasm - not aggression. By the way. This is 7th track off Termanology's "If heaven was a mile away" whcich was an entire Dilla tribute album. Mixed & mastered by Sir Bob Nash @ Wonka Sound. All scratches & cuts were done by DJ Statik Selektah, in 2009. Dilla died in '06
This to bomb Real hip hop only dilla can flip Michael Jackson like this rip both of you this Fiyah Nigga tight line up of real rappers scew 50 screw soulja
@XtraClipz yeah I know. Don't you think if I spotted it in the first verse that I'd likely spot the refernces the others? My point was the first verse the rapper intertwines it with his lyrics, much more so than the others - hence the others.
@BinaryVisi0n admittedly it sounds straight up Dilla, but as it's posthumously, I think it's 'inspired' rather than authentic. That's kinda the point of the entire album this came off? Dilla DID do a LOT of uncredited work for 100s of artists across MANY genres (almost as prolific as Jazzy Jeff) and much in his catalogue - but attaching every piece of work that SOUNDS Dilla, doesn't mean it is.
@XtraClipz YES..... I ....... KNOW...... the first verse holds the most direct references...... hence my point...... SEE ABOVE - do you not read or are you some younger who's trying to show off that they have Dilla knowledge?? Won't impress me, I've been into Hip Hop since the 70s dude!
Forever an classic gem
Absolute heat rock here. Chaundon is one of the most underrated emcees in the game.
The greatest producer of all time.
Dilla transformed the M.J. sample into something special.

a like baby ..of chile
I wonder if anyone's picked up on the fact that most of the first verse (rapper) uses lines or titles from Dilla tracks since the 1990s. Very clever.
@Frongner1 this is a dilla tribute, so it is Dilla inspired, not Dilla produced.
this song is fucking cool
