I am waiting for my KDS delivery: my beloved tiny black kitty Sabrina passed away in April 2023 after 18 wonderful years, and I'm hoping 2024 brings us 1-2 more baby floofs! We may have to go to a shelter if the KDS is overwhelmed

That poor kitty! She had to be so scared being by herself all that time. I'm so glad you got her. She's terrified! Thank you for taking care of her!!!!
Scared, yes, but she knew what she had to do to get free food, boarding, hugs, and scratches behind the ears for life. All she had to do was to show up and look scared but cute, and she knew she would instantly melt someone's heart. Kittens are quite cunning, don't let their cute looks fool you.

This kitten has the exact same fur colour as the kitten that a stray cat brought to our backyard. He was gorgeus male kitten with long thick fur coat that got attatched to us since we were feeding his mom and his five siblings, as well. It was a funny sight when the cat came to our backyard with a column of six kittens, all following her in single file with their tails completely vertical. Funny and cute. Sadly that kitten later disappeared and was then seen walking on a leash next to a small girl and her father as they were taking him out for a walk. At least he had a nice life.
I was too young to retain a memory of the event, but one day a barn cat led her troop of kittens up to the house in the same manner. My mother and grandmother told my sister, who was 2½ years older than me, to pick one for herself. She picked out a black long hair, who had three white patches on his underside, one on his neck, one on his chest, and the third just above the naughty bits.
Oh, THAT kitten was the only one that originally stayed with us before he dissappeared. The others went away and found their own homes as well as the mother cat. We planned to keep that gray kitten. Sadly, that family tempted him away from us and made him their pet.

Since 2004, the Kitten Distribution System has left 35 mostly kittens, but a few adult cats with us. I have done TNR, which is Trap Neuter Release, on 4 of them. One of the TNR's turned into TNK, which is Trap Neuter Keep. The TNK is a male named Kevin. He came to us with an open, bleeding wound. These days he helps me with all my sewing out in the barn, which is where he lives 24/7 with another of those 35 kittens. I have re-homed several of those kittens. We get a LOT of kittens and cats here because we live out in the country and people dump cats out here. I do the right thing with them, all on a fixed income.
Weird UA-cam algorithms. I lost my beautiful girl cat one month ago and I was just feeling incredibly sad about her loss when up popped this video. This kitten is the spitting image of my girl as a kitten. I’m still sad but it’s lovely to see this beautiful girl get a loving home ❤.
Im so sorry for your loss. Losing a furbaby is especially hard. Your baby might be senting you a message. What that message means is completely up to you and how you feel about seeing the video.
My Sparta sent me the people that would soon introduce me to his "interns". On the bus home 2 weeks after losing him I sat on the bus behind 2 people talking about all the pets they've had, how they miss them and still love them. I silently weeped for a bit and mustered the courage to tell them that their conversation healed me so much and I really needed to hear everything they said. Found out they were getting of the the stop after mine at the nearby plaza. I offered to walk them around and to back to the bus stop. We exchanged phone numbers and few days later one of them texted me telling me that their brother and his GF are cat fosters and they just took in a mama with 4 kittens. I was at her brother's house within 48 hrs to met the kittens. I met my Ares and Apollo that day.
Once she became familiar with her human family and she was ready to meet the resident cat it was just delightful. The family had expanded to embrace the new member and everyone was happy.
This kitten is the cutest thing!! I'm glad that this couple found this adorable little kitty!! When she sees their other adult cat?? All bets are off!! She couldn't ask for anything better for herself!! She is so playful and so sweet!! Thank You for sharing this with us!!😊😊😊

I showed my husband your video and he smiled and said that looks like Shorty (his nickname for her). You know what's amazing? I never saw a video of a cat that looked like my Chewy until she passed. I think she is touching us. The other coincidence is when I was 5 years old my first Kitty ever (my dads cat) was named Baby. Back in the day, 1962, my dad would let Baby outside and whistled for her and she came running back to him. When we had to let Chewy go she had been on fluids for over 3 years due to Kidney failure. I knew it was time she had stopped eating for 2 days. I held her in my arms with her face near mine and told her that I would see her on the Rainbow Bridge. We were very close. She was all I had left. I knew it was time though. Thanks again.🙋🏻♀️🐈💜🙏😇

When I adopted my girl she stayed under my bed for three days (she was already a senior so I'm sure it was quite a shock). I just kept talking to her and sliding food under there. She's still a little flighty but she's sooo affectionate now -- she starts purring as soon as I touch her ^__^
Also wanted to say how impressed I am with the people in the video. You can see the kitten slow-blinking back, which means the human did it first, plus how they gave her all the space they could and didn't introduce her to the other cat right away -- these people are pros!

The kitten distribution system is real! My young neighbor saw some kittens in my backyard and asked if she could try to catch them. She did and now they're living the good life indoors. I love seeing them in the window in the mornings.

Cats choose their guardians. 2 years ago a kitten came every day to my patio. I would feed her and a few weeks later brought her into my apartment. She adjusted very easily. I had her neutured and vacinated. I named her Callie. She is so such a love bug and spoiled each day.
I did almost the same thing with a stray I found. It took weeks to get her to trust us but it was worth it. We had years and years with the best cat I could have hoped for.
Ive just taken a cat that a friend of my wife give. She couldn't take care of her as she's going away and this cat is still adjusting. Ive a cat of my own, a male cat and i hope in the not so future she will be like this kitten, being comfortable with us and my cat.

I rescued a cat who sorta just decided my apartment was her home and I was her Momma when I was in college Here we are, approximately 6 years later, and she STILL treats me like Momma! Such a perfect Queen kitty!

She just kind of sat under a bush next to my front door and followed me up *3 stories* of stairs, looked at me for permission before meandering straight to my bedroom She came to me LITERALLY DAYS after getting pregnant, too. And, once her babies were born, she WAS SUCH A GOOD MOMMA! When she went into labor, she literally followed me, crying and refusing to go into her whelping box until my dumb ass finally realized what she was trying to tell me! I have pictures of her holding my hand and arm for comfort during both births. As her and one of her daughters snuck in an incest pregnancy with her son before I could get the boy fixed. He was only 2 1/2 months old, though!! I literally had his fixing appointment within the week >.

Yeah, I like the idea of the Cat Distribution System but 95% of the cat owners out there got their kitty from a shelter or adoption system.

The kitten distribution system is real! My young neighbor saw some kittens in my backyard and asked if she could try to catch them. She did and now they're living the good life indoors. I love seeing them in the window in the mornings.
