Thank you, this very useful..…my friend will come to Sydney next week from USA,and would like to get to the nearest train station, can you tell me what is that station name.Thamk you
@ThiNguyen, if your friend is arriving at Sydney Int’l Airport, then your friend can take the train 🚆 from airport to Sydney Central. It’s all in the video on how to get to the train platform from the arrival area. Just watch the other video I uploaded from Sydney International Airport to Sydney Central. From Central, you can go by train 🚆 anywhere where there is rail line.
Thank you, so helpful! I am flying into Sydney this November and then heading to NEwcastle, NSW. Do I need to go to Sydney Central Station to catch a train to Newcastle, or can I get one from the airport?
Hi MT, if you’re planning to take a train from the airport to Newcastle, you can take the train from the airport and then just change train at Sydney Central Station. Once you get off from Sydney Central Station , just make your way to transfer to the NSW Train Link Regional Express train line. Just ask one of the train staff and they will be happy to assist 😊. Have a safe trip.
A lot of people will tell you that the Sydney Airport line is expensive to use, and to some extent I agree. But what a lot of customers also don't know is that the airport stations are owned by a private company so they pretty much charge what they like.
Hahaha, nah not this one. But this is still cheaper than taking a taxi 🚕 if you are lucky to get one at the airport during busy days when all morning flights comes in at the same time.
Because I'm not visiting Sydney very often I don't mind paying the exorbitant airport tax on the trains. If you have plenty of time take a public bus to Mascot train station, I think it is the 420 bus. I've also watched a video where the person walks from International to the Wolli Creek train station - much of the distance on a cycle & pedestrian walkway.
@@brentsummers7377 True, that would be a cheaper option but a bit of a hassle if you have a large luggage. I agree with you, I would rather pay the train high fare than take a taxi or walk to the next nearest train station.
@@Bebekmatrix I have not tried the taxi 🚕 lately but I checked the estimated taxi 🚕 fare via the taxi fare calculator on www.taxifare.com.au and it ranges from A$30 to A$45. Hope that gives you an idea.
You have missed the obvious travel hack from Sydney Airport. Catch the bus from Domestic or International Terminals to Mascot Station, then take the train from there. Saves A$16!
Yeah. Look at the time on the platform indicators. It's just after 11 am, so outside peak hour. Between 7am and 9 am it would look very different; train would be heavily loaded with passengers from outer south western Sydney suburbs that run through the airport.
howmuch train cost to arrived downtown

Cool train 🚊 to Sydney airport ❤❤❤❤✨✨✨✨✨🚈🚈🚈🚈🚉🚉 8:36
Thanks for watching Javier. Yes, a convenient option to travel between Sydney City Business District and Kingsford Smith Sydney Airport

Yes, that explains it all on why it is that expensive. It’s the same with the road tolls across Sydney. It’s privately owned.
Yep, I think they’ll last till about 2030 or something I heard.
In case the humidity is killer, you don't need to go outside. Just turn left when you go out of the arrival hall, and you'll get there eventually.
Thanks for the info and for watching my video.
Helpful video. Thanks for sharing. How much is the Opal card fare from Syd to Central Station?
It is about A$20.60 to or from Sydney Airport to Central Station 🚉 and vice versa
I thought this video is about finding another way for a cheaper train than the AUD16.00 fare. lol

Yeah, that’s a great hack but not highly recommended for travelers with heavy luggage I suppose😊
Thank you! I am planning to visit Sydney in early June. This video will be informative to me when I go to my hotel. Love from South Korea 🇰🇷
Thanks for watching my video and commenting on it. I am glad that it will help you go to the city from the airport. Thank you 😊.
Very empty
haha, yeah it is, airport train line only has travelers flying out of Sydney.
That's not correct. That airport line is part of the suburban line, carrying commuters to and from the city. It's very busy at peak times.

@@robertthomson1587 Yes, that I agree with you. I stand corrected. Thanks.
