साउंड क्वालिटी बहुत अच्छी है। Fm का रिसेप्शन अच्छा है। मीडियम वेव का रिसेप्शन बहुत अच्छा नहीं है। शॉर्टवेव दिया ही नहीं गया। सबसे अजीब बात आज के ज़माने में रिचार्जेबल बैटरी नहीं दिया गया। ये बात समझ नहीं आई। बहुत सुन्दर प्रस्तुति परविंदर भाई 👍🏼
Sahil ji, usually Europe ya dusare ameer deshon ke log rechargeable battery ki jagah cells use karna pasand karte hain.
Modern normal listener ki soch kar ye Radio bana hai.

Now Philips radios are known only for their build quality and audio quality, not selectivity and sensitivity.
In olden times, there were less RF signals in the atmosphere. So, radio signals were very strong. Although Philips provided many good radios at that time but now the situation is different.

Of the old models I have, SurKiran is very good in reception.
Among modern Philips Radios, I found Tiger's reception horrible.
@@pravindersheoran Now, they are providing radios for metro cities only where there are a lot of local FM stations. So, they eliminated SW bands to minimise the chip, power consumption and to reduce the selling price. Anyway, very few people are fond of listening SW bands nowadays. So, Philips is working on their own market policy in this changing era.

AC me reception thodasa achcha hoga lekin MW me disturbance bhi ho sakta hai

AC mein sound bhi thoda aur loud ho jata hai par MW par definitely disturbance hogi.

लुक्स और कुछ फीचर तो बहुत जबरदस्त है लेकिन शॉर्टवेव और रिसेप्शन के मामले में रेडियो मात खा रहा है। बरबस ही एक कहावत याद आ गई “ खोदा पहाड़ निकली चुहिया” फिर भी कुछ नहीं से कुछ अच्छा है। अपने यहाँ तो ये भी नहीं मिलता।

Maine yehi cheej Philips Tiger mein note ki thi, reception mein average. Par wo to sound mein bhi below average tha. Shukar hai yahan sound bahut achha hai. Jinko achhe sound mein local FM/AM stations sun ne hon, unke liye best hai.

Ji, pahle mujhe bhi aisa hi lagta tha par samay ke sath maine dekha ki IC se chalne waale kayi Radios mein DSP ki tarah ki hi tuning bhi ho sakti hai jahan ek station par rokna mushkil ho jata hai. Lekin maine ye bhi notice kiya ki ye problem in Radios ko strong reception waale stations par nahin aati. Ye Analog Radio hi hai, DSP wala nahin hai, jitna main jaan paya.

I have this model . When I received it , the sound was horrible and I had to replace the two wires of the speaker . Now it functions fine . Nice design , I like the dial . Philips is an excellent dutch brand but they let the chinese assemblers make the products , the results are sometimes bad .

But a few disappointing structures, mechanism and technically defect design are seen in this radio, I think the volume nob on the top should have been tuning nob and wheel type tuning nob should have been volume nob. Also this radio should have SW Band as well as handle.

When I first started tuning it, instead of tuner I ended up changing the volume and vice versa and I was thinking they have put them at opposite places haha

Shayad aap bina Radio ko sune ye baat bol rahe hain. Abhi pichhle dino 3 alag alag video bane the 25-25 minute ke, SW band par aane waali services ke baare mein, jinmein se ek to khaas Akashwani par tha. MW par desh bhar mein kayi kayi station chakte hain, ek video aaya tha. Aur FM par to ginti hi nahin hai kitne station hain desh mein, jin par vividh bharati bhi chalta hai din bhar.
Radio sun ne waalon ko aaj bhi, jab Radio guzre zamane ki cheej ho gayi lagti hai, sun ne ke liye itne itne station hain ki ek jeevan kam pad jaaye

Namaskar Sir. I thank you for bringing forth and reviewing a Philips Offering that's not talked around in UA-cam Radio Community. A well made Radio from Philips I must say. But all in all, it's a hit or miss deal for a Radio Listener based in India and South Asia. No doubt, this radio is very well made, looks sleek, owes good sound and offers easy accessibility that can be a plus point for all irrespective of age. But in terms of reception, bands offering and selection, I found it average and felt disappointed to observe brand like Philips which is now heavily compromising and tapering down their legacy. Brand once known to be the legend of fine Transistor Radio making is now in itself struggling to manufacture in their home. This Radio can be a good novelty item/souvenir but My take would be to look for offerings from other players that can provide a lot more in this price range for extensive Radio Listening on both FM and AM (MW & SW inclusive). 73! 🙏

There is so much advancement in the Radio world and Philips is left way behind now, actually out of the market almost.
This Radio, as you pointed, is good in so many ways but the major point - reception - takes a hit and that is very bad.
@@pravindersheoranji, all thanks to DSP based Digital Analogs that stepped in and revolutionised the whole game Sir. For sure such radios are little tech sensitive for someone who's old school but change is something that's inevitable and accepting the change is the only way. For sure we all hold significant love, respect and plenty of memories for Philips and other veteran brands which were and still are considered the household names. But if we accept what's there to explore in today's scenarios keeping our roots intact then Radio Listening attains a whole new level. I am thankful you are still showing up with Pure Analogs from various Indian and Overseas Brands as many here in our community can relate with them. But also teaching us to maintain a good balance so that we don't lose what's there to explore outside by keep pondering to our pasts. 73! 🙏

Ji, you can check on Amazon Holland. On various platforms worldwide, I have seen it in between 3200-3500 INR.
Sheoran Ji Namaste .Philips' audio division has changed hands many times a few times over the last few years. Philips I doubt is a Dutch company now . The tuningvwheel is again a manifestation of Chinese technology. But it is really disappointing to see it does not have shortwave . Hence I shall not buy this radio as my presentvradios have FM/MW . But thecradiovreally looks cool.

Lekin reception aur achha hona chahiye tha.

You are advertising all types of radios by saying that it is good, outstanding, nice and what not. You have to advertise for public only CLASS radios dear.
@@arunkoti8655 ji, I don't advertise any Radios, I just show them, the ones that I believe could be good, and I buy them for my collection. And while making their videos I bring out positives and negatives of them.
I haven't found any bad Radios till date, maybe my bad luck (or good luck).
Showing Radios is just a secondary aim of this channel, the primary one is to bring forward the science behind them in easy language for a layman and also to boost Radio listening.
