Natalie, these last few videos with the edits of both perspective are so great, especially for someone who is unable to watch streams most of the time.
Come on stop whining - 8 times out of 10 the dude can't draw his combo properly. He needs 2x Apprentices, 2x Molten Reflections, 6 spells that didn't start in his deck (And in the Antonidas Freeze version it's tougher to get to, and RNG can screw you over a lot, Toast got insanely lucky), Antonidas. And the rest of your deck you cant card draw, ice blocks. Which makes it weak to aggro and midrange decks. Only consistently wins against Amara and Reno though.
Like Reno decks. Or Freeze mage. Or Quest rogue. Oh wait. Quest mage requires good draws to win because they can't complete their quest on turn 3. Play the game better and stop whining.
"Having phenomenal board presence =/= a win." Exactly the problem. Minion combat and board control is challenging and interesting. 20 turns of hoping you draw well followed by a dragon ball z tier wombo combo is not.
Toast had incredible luck, both with his draws (dual Van Cleaf, dual Frothing so early in the game), and with the spells he got in the mage game. There wasn't really any chance for Kibler to win any of those games.
People complaining that Exodia Mage has no counter and it's bullshit are seriously braindead... You need to be very lucky on the RNG to get decent spells to speed your way into completing your quest and/or remove your enemy's board. You have to rely on plenty of cards to get the combo going (like someone said, 2 Sorcerer's Apprentice, 2 Molten Reflection or 2 Mirage Callers, Antonidas and Quest already done...). That's way too slow against a Rogue Quest (which is EVEN a bigger cancer than Exodia Mage), and other aggro decks. And if all of that fails: Ice Block. Exodia Mage needs to spend his 2nd turn to burn you. As a mage, if you manage to have an Ice Block, you'll survive the "Burn Turn", and then you can proceed to try and burn him afterward! So yeah...whoever says that Exodia Mage is cancer, Rogue Quest would like to have a word with you...
Hey Kibler would you be so kind to share your jungle giants deck because I'm trying to make my jungle giants deck work and need some ideas against aggro decks.
Average HS player usually have to deal with the opponent killing ALL the minions on board while bming for every single one, even in a easy match up as handlock. I usually pass turn, but if you start making both lose time just to "feel the winning" because you win less than you would like, I obviously concede. If you want to do such messy things, little bm, and with jokes and such, play with friends who also enjoy that friendly shittalking and so, but don't ever try to say a random person in a game should be stay there losing time just because you want.
The reason Toast conceded was because Kibler asked him if it's DDOS-priest. The priest-game was lost to Toast all along because he never actually wins games with that deck and just trolls people by skipping their turn and then concedes when they are pissed. Since Kiblers question meant that he already knew what was coming Toast no longer had a reason to actually play the deck.
basically you use radiant elementals to reduce the cost of shadow visions to 0, then you just repeatedly shadow visions into shadow visions, and the animation of the cards being put into your hand again takes so long that your opponent ropes, basically the same thing as the curse of rafaam bug but you can't even get rid of it by cancelling card animations. You then just repeat this and attack with your minions until you either draw your second shadow visions(meaning you can't discover it anymore) or you kill your opponent.
these two streamers are my favorite, Toast is funny and have more knowledge than average streamer, Kibler has nice smile and have wonderful self control.
They really didn't properly playtest those quests... I mean, the Paladin and Warlock quests need you to invest way more then what Rogue and Mage have to invest into, yet they get so much less out of said quest... >.>
I was watching the stream. It looked like he got a message and his demeanor suddenly changed. Maybe he just decided it was too dirty but I suspect blizz told him to stop playing that exploit because he'd been warned already.
Hey Kibler! You should try pirate quest warrior, did it like dragon warrior but mixed in 3 taunt beasts and 1 cold light murloc and 2 dragons. It kinda works, and its so much fun! Try it kibler I'm your fan, id be happy if you make this deck work better!
Wow, rnjesus REALLY wanted toast to win those games -freeze into freeze into ice-block AND double molten reflection from kabalist tome?? -Mimic pod into Edwin and kibler doesn't draw PW death? - FREAKING DOUBLE FROTHING BERZERK WITH PERFECT SETUP AND CARDS TO ACTIVATE THEM ??!! like holy cows.
Quest mage is great. Everyone loves playing against freeze mage, and everyone loves coin flips deciding games, so why not print a card that makes both of those things happen in a single deck? Fantastic job, blizzard. Really looking out for people who like having fun.
Great set of games to start the best-of-9, can't wait to see the rest of them! [SPOILERS BELOW] That double Molten Reflection off of Cabalist's Tome was disgusting, holy shit
Poor Kibler played so well and got RNGd, Toast is really good too but his luck was just insane in these games. And Kibler took it like a champ even though it was a lot of RNG
Because the Medivh's echo one required one turn, you had the hope your opponent could mess it up. With the quest and the extra-turn, it is way easier to complete the combo in a secure way.
Лучи Добра because with the other decks you had limited freeze and block. This new cancer half of the time they discover combo pieces, play 3-5 iceblocks, 3 blizzards, 5 frost Nova ect. Rng not fun
That quest mage deck is like tier 3, hard to play and super weak in comparison to rest of the decks. Hate on the other things, will you? // hint: nobrain rogue quest for instance
It was more the war of Luck, the one of skill. Toast would be done next turn without those 2 molten reflection, and next game he draws double Cliff with Kibler drawing no SWD's. And those berserkers at the end were of the same shit.
i have a question for everyone : lets say that one player A has taunt warrior and another player B has the same exact deck.. player A spending 8 hours per day player B same thing.. player B is rank legend player A is 9 8 7 10 12 ..player A giving all his effort and cant reach legend..and my question is what kind of minds - brains has player B...?i wonder..this goes for all strategy games..
That's actually a smart play xD One of the ways people could deal with his warrior deck is by not playing any early minions and only taunts with lots of health (if they have them) or removals. Playing the quest on turn 1 makes people think it's a taunt deck so they play early minions in order to be able to remove the first taunts and that's what ends up breaking their necks.
toast conceded first game because it was no longer a meme to beat him with dddos priest if kibler already knew about the deck. it would've just been BM
Funny how kibbler actually killed himself in game 2 by playing a spell when Toast secret spammed, without the spell stolen from kibbler, Toast wouldn't have been able to get the initial fireball from Antonidas (unless he drew a spell which costs 7 or less on the extra turn, which he might have and won anyway)
Toast actually could've played around that by saving one reflection for the extra turn to play alongside Tony. He also had a guaranteed secret draw in hand I believe. He was fine
Every expansion it gets worse but this one they've made the pay to win aspect of it just.. amazing. And the matchmaking is so screwed up you've got people in low ranks running these meta decks with the cash they've dropped.
Yeah it seems great until you actually experience playing the card yourself. +3 health only comes up 1/3 of the time, the rest of the time the card is pretty mediocre.
Max Bassanini yeah and it only helps with iceblock. Basically you suggest running an eater of secrets in an aggro deck(because only an aggro deck would be able to proc ice block anyway) which is stupid
Eu I its only slow af if the mage draws incredibly badly or has really bad rng. Which happens once in a lifetime. most games go like toast's. You call his exodia activation slow af? Also putting one horrendous card that also has absolutely no synergy with your deck to have a "higher"(not guaranteed) chance of winning a matchup that occurs once in 6 games is pretty stupid. Freeze mage has always been my second favorite deck of all time and Every expansion I tried out different types of it(freeze, fatigue, etc.) But this deck is almost as stupid as pirate warrior. Maybe even stupider. At least pirate warrior had counters and bad matchups.
I like the format when u are playing against other streamers with both perspections :)
that's gonna be perspective
Nah perspections is definitely the word he wanted to go with
hahahaha lmfao lol xD im ded
DarthBane
I think whatever word he wants to use is really just a matter of prescription.
l love percocets
Natalie, these last few videos with the edits of both perspective are so great, especially for someone who is unable to watch streams most of the time.
+Jayse Glad you like them!
Boy, that Quest Mage deck sure is fun and interactive to play against...
Only consistently wins against Amara and Reno though.
stop whining about him whining
Tywin Lannister we found the mage player
Like Reno decks.
Or Freeze mage.
Or Quest rogue.
Oh wait. Quest mage requires good draws to win because they can't complete their quest on turn 3.
Play the game better and stop whining.
Because getting beaten down on turn 4-6 by Rogue with 1 mana 5/5 chargers is so much more fun and interactive
8:15 Reminder: He has a Bachelor's in Math.
Also, top notch editing once again! This is quickly becoming one of my favorite channels!
These VS. videos are great. I really love how we get to see both perspectives.
7:17 Missed that easy Apprentice-triple Molten Reflection-Time Warp-Anotnidas-Exodia lethal.
I like when you guys do these. We need more of them!
"I have so many gigantic monsters that cost nothing, but I'm dead"
Thanks for reminding me why I don't play this game
What??? That's a stupid reason not to play. Having 0 cost minions =/= a win.
"Having phenomenal board presence =/= a win."
Exactly the problem. Minion combat and board control is challenging and interesting. 20 turns of hoping you draw well followed by a dragon ball z tier wombo combo is not.
Nova + Sayer = board control
I tried teching in Crazed Alchemists vs the Sayers. Haven't hit one once, but it's cool vs totems, too.
spacepirate369 you're dead too?
When you like minion combat so much play Arena :P
the quest is for BM hahahaha killed me XD
"Ruck Fogues" This is why i love Toast.
"The Quest is for BM. I make you muligan the wrong cards." Good ol' Disguised Toast.
videos like this showing two perspectives are awesome
That Druid deck is the most favorable matchup for Exodia Mage... Easy to stall his big minions until you get the combo. No burst, no damage spells.
I might be a bit bias here but I like Kibler vs Toast than Kibler vs Amaz. For some reason Amaz's voice and reaction bother me more than it should.
does anyone have an idea about the druid quest decklist kibler used pleaseeeee
If Kibler didn't cast Wrath, Toast wouldn't have had a spell for Antonidas to start the fireball chain...
"I am an Honest man." - Kibler Shade Master
"I have so many monsters which cost nothing but there I am dead " ungoro in a nutshell
Thank you Kibler for these great matches :=)
Instead of 2x Feral Rages do you just use Earthen Scales instead in your Druid quest deck?
Great games. I just love them both so much.
Nozdormu, the ultimate quest mage counter :P
omg i can use it in druid quest deck lol
it also synergises with Curator ;)
Well, in this case toast would have just fireballed nozdormu twice and then got his 1:30 turn back.
Can you show a quest-druid deck?
hey Kibler I've been playing relatively the same priest deck has you how do beat discard zoo
When are the other parts going to be released? I need to know who won!
Tomorrow morning.
Brian Kibler hey kibler. im a huge fan. i (almost) always watch you stream. keep up the great work, and stay awesome.
7:16
Yes. Missed lethal
How is that?
Toast had incredible luck, both with his draws (dual Van Cleaf, dual Frothing so early in the game), and with the spells he got in the mage game. There wasn't really any chance for Kibler to win any of those games.
I love these videos
kibler, could you share your quest mage list? your decks are always my favorite to play
can you post the Murloc deck list please?
"Analberries? My favourite!" -Tortollan Forager 2017
Toast would make a warrior deck that tricks the opponent into thinking it is taunt warrior.
are all nine parts gonna be on your channel or is it gonna be switching till you get part 9
Nkosilathi Sibanda, this is games 1-4. Probably only going to be two parts.
did anyone see toast miss lethal on turn 9 in game 2?
It was lethal, but at that point, there was no way toast could lose
Its called Extended BM
Did Toast still have lethal if Kibler hadn't cast the Wrath, which gave Toast one more spell to get a Fireball with?
I like how the goal of the next few sets is to slow down the game, and we just saw three new decks end the game relatively quickly.
hi kibler- do you actually know the classic music you are playing? or are you just looking for random classic compositions?
People complaining that Exodia Mage has no counter and it's bullshit are seriously braindead...
You need to be very lucky on the RNG to get decent spells to speed your way into completing your quest and/or remove your enemy's board. So yeah...whoever says that Exodia Mage is cancer, Rogue Quest would like to have a word with you...
I started laughing to the point of drooling at DDOS priest.
Hey Kibler would you be so kind to share your jungle giants deck because I'm trying to make my jungle giants deck work and need some ideas against aggro decks.
kibler, could you please share your druid deck? I love it
Good guy Kibler, let Toast have fun with Exioda Combo. Average HS salter insta-concede.
Innersoulwithinme if it was a competitive game, why waste time waiting for the whole thing?
Average HS player usually have to deal with the opponent killing ALL the minions on board while bming for every single one, even in a easy match up as handlock. But why would they not concede if the deck isn't fun to play against?
To be fair this was a friendly challenge, not ranked mode.
The reason Toast conceded was because Kibler asked him if it's DDOS-priest.
The priest-game was lost to Toast all along because he never actually wins games with that deck and just trolls people by skipping their turn and then concedes when they are pissed. Since Kiblers question meant that he already knew what was coming Toast no longer had a reason to actually play the deck.
what is ddos priest? can someone explain and maybe send me a link to a deck guide?
basically you use radiant elementals to reduce the cost of shadow visions to 0, then you just repeatedly shadow visions into shadow visions, and the animation of the cards being put into your hand again takes so long that your opponent ropes, basically the same thing as the curse of rafaam bug but you can't even get rid of it by cancelling card animations. Completing quest as Paladin is just game over when Mage needs the 5 card combo x)
Rogue is busted and Warlock is very weak tho, I agree on that
Liquid Same And Hunter is bad aswell
Toast didnt draw his second shadow vision... so why did he concede?
Because is such a dick move winning using an exploit
Toast was going to just do the combo then concede but once he found out that Kibler knew what he was playing he didn't see the point.
Oh okay, got it. Ty troy moore
I was watching the stream. It looked like he got a message and his demeanor suddenly changed. Maybe he just decided it was too dirty but I suspect blizz told him to stop playing that exploit because he'd been warned already.
There's no definitive awnser but it feels like it was an honour concede. Probably didn't wanna beat Kibler with a dirty deck.
"The Quest is for BM" hahahahahahaha
Can anyone link me Brian's deck list
Hey Kibler! You should try pirate quest warrior, did it like dragon warrior but mixed in 3 taunt beasts and 1 cold light murloc and 2 dragons. It kinda works, and its so much fun! Try it kibler I'm your fan, id be happy if you make this deck work better!
This is the first time i saw taunt on Patches.
Wow, rnjesus REALLY wanted toast to win those games
-freeze into freeze into ice-block AND double molten reflection from kabalist tome??
-Mimic pod into Edwin and kibler doesn't draw PW death?
- FREAKING DOUBLE FROTHING BERZERK WITH PERFECT SETUP AND CARDS TO ACTIVATE THEM ??!!
like holy cows.

[a moment of silence] "thank you for that" - beautiful :)
Great set of games to start the best-of-9, can't wait to see the rest of them!
[SPOILERS BELOW]
That double Molten Reflection off of Cabalist's Tome was disgusting, holy shit
Alright comments, help a brotha out.
I have like 8k dust or so. What deck should I craft? Need a combination of fun + relatively good on later.
Golden Ultrasaures. Craft them until you have no dust left
Spaces if you want a competetiv deck, i would say wait just a little longer... untill the meta is more stable
Spaces im currently climbing from 20 to 12 with "Quest Taunt Warrior"
Yes I love the editing!
Bad idea to put his battletag on the video!!
Also, this is the one I was waiting for, I got scamazed
Blizzard nerfer Leeroy cause miracle was unfair and non interactive.
But this is fine
noooo really wanted to see the murloc shaman deck =(
Toast picks his "Legit Deck" Priest. Need I say more?
Finally people who can actually tell a cards value.
Anyone can give me Kibler quest druid deck list?
+LongChickenPL its in the latest post on bmkgaming.com
Thank you
A blizzard employee conformed ddos priest would not get you banned
How is toast so good at making new decks?
Mage quest, so fun and interactive.
Dörty rët
oh shit wrong one
AWESOME!
I feel like Toast always has bad luck when against Kibler.
No
You are an awesome human being
Toast missed lethal with mage, could complete the quest turn earlier cause his molten reflections were not from his deck
Poor Kibler played so well and got RNGd, Toast is really good too but his luck was just insane in these games. And Kibler took it like a champ even though it was a lot of RNG
That fireball infinite should not exist.
Guys is Un'Goro legitmally balanced between the classes??? Or cancer just haven't showed up yet?
Should had played nozdormu in quest druid, haha
Why there was no whine about freeze mages and same fucking exodia mages with medivh's echo, but only this version is so hated?
Лучи Добра Because that one is in Wild, and the Waygate one is on the current meta.
Because the Medivh's echo one required one turn, you had the hope your opponent could mess it up. With the quest and the extra-turn, it is way easier to complete the combo in a secure way.
Well 2 years ago it was in standart. Nobody complained about it.
Great, Mage quest is Saheeli Rai / Felidar Guardian from standard Magic. I just can't escape the infinite combos....
It was more the war of Luck, the one of skill. Toast would be done next turn without those 2 molten reflection, and next game he draws double Cliff with Kibler drawing no SWD's. And those berserkers at the end were of the same shit.
Haha, "the quest is for bm"
they need to make noz untargetable like sargoth, might actually make him viable
Together with Gigguks animevids, the only ones i put a like before even finishing are Kibler vs. Toast. 10/10
brian Kibler the questing adventurer
i have a question for everyone : lets say that one player A has taunt warrior and another player B has the same exact deck.. player A spending 8 hours per day player B same thing.. player B is rank legend player A is 9 8 7 10 12 ..player A giving all his effort and cant reach legend..and my question is what kind of minds - brains has player B...?i wonder..this goes for all strategy games..
come on kibler!! you can do this!!
Toast>Kibler? Wait for part 2, kiddos ;)
I feel like sorcerers apprentice is gonna get nerfed
"The quest is for BM." lol
That's actually a smart play xD One of the ways people could deal with his warrior deck is by not playing any early minions and only taunts with lots of health (if they have them) or removals. Playing the quest on turn 1 makes people think it's a taunt deck so they play early minions in order to be able to remove the first taunts and that's what ends up breaking their necks.
toast conceded first game because it was no longer a meme to beat him with dddos priest if kibler already knew about the deck. it would've just been BM
8:08 that's what you get for playing against a Math Major(tm)
Good guy toast - can win. Don't do that.
against exodia mage: dirty rat opop
hey kibler that stuff on your lip has some stuff on its lip :D.
Time to play secret eater guys.
Meme Lords Madness
Why the fuck havent they nerfed frothing yet?
Funny how kibbler actually killed himself in game 2 by playing a spell when Toast secret spammed, without the spell stolen from kibbler, Toast wouldn't have been able to get the initial fireball from Antonidas (unless he drew a spell which costs 7 or less on the extra turn, which he might have and won anyway)
Not really, Toast could just have played the last Molten reflection (1 mana) after the Antonidas if he had no other spells.
Toast actually could've played around that by saving one reflection for the extra turn to play alongside Tony. He also had a guaranteed secret draw in hand I believe. He was fine
amazing
PART TWO OR WE RIOT SwiftRage
Waw thats clever to put the quest just to make them think you play control x)
Well, it's not supposed to do that, but...
The turn 3 5/4 is so legit. This extension is soooo crappy...
Harry Jones dont try dude they are just salty because they are bas at the game
To all those people saying that Quest mage is bullshit: Eater of secrets
Max Bassanini yeah and it only helps with iceblock. Basically you suggest running an eater of secrets in an aggro deck(because only an aggro deck would be able to proc ice block anyway) which is stupid
Quest!=Secret
Actually, the block props almost every game, despite the matchup. That's the deck weakness, it's slow AF.
even dirty rat fucks up rogue and mage quests
