I hate how people hated the tailgate plaque on the 2021 models, now that ford listened and removed that plaque people are online shooting off about how ford removed it and now it looks cheap and cross cut. Like jeez either you want it or you dont. Grow up
Im excited I ordered another one, first order showed up without the new gate. Their mistake, so I reordered. They gave me $43,000.00 for my pristine 2021 Lariat. I have to pay an additional 58,000.00. It’s a lot of money but my dad recently passed so I’m using some of the money that was left to me to by a retirement vehicle for myself. I have a cottage up north and I’m always towing Boats, ATV’s and other trailers, I find the 3.5 pulls like a dream. I had a 2016 Lincoln MKX, was an incredible vehicle, I find the pickup drives just as well. This new truck even has massage seats like the Lincoln had.
I had the 2021 limited, it totally loved it and what made it special and stand out from other trims it was the plaque, this new model looks as Any xlt or any other lower trim but the top of the line, i know there must be a reason but for me it didn’t make sense so i ended up getting the ram limited elite, i really love it.
Great to see the body color and interior close up views. Not sure if you mentioned the out the door price, would be helpful to know what incentives the dealer can make. Looking forward to seeing the pro access tailgate version.
It’s good Ford keep up with smart redesign. It looks cool. Buttons and knobs much better than using the touch screen like in a BMW. I drove a 5.0 with big tow pkg (3.73 rear) it was fast. Grill looks great and interior w/heads up is good change.
A trunk like the Ridgeline and similar tail gate. Add side storage boxes like ram…. These trucks are so expensive they souls make the bed way more practical for every day use.
Part of me likes that it’s not flashy, but i think ford was dumb for announcing the PAT and not telling people right away that it would be delayed for job 2 builds.
@@sam-d2i as we know pro access tailgate is a late availability option. But they should be on they way now as tremor was also a late availability and tremors are now shipping.

For the highest trim level of this truck to have a tailgate that looks like a base model, is simply bush league.

I ended up taking a lariat. Without the status of the plaque, it’s basically the same truck.
That grill is dated. It looks like an older model Lincoln. The buck stopped in 2020😢
Wish it had a back up camera to use when tailgate down. Needs light in upper glove box. I would miss the unleashed stereo system.
