@INNOCENZO Di Bartolo .. Personally I think it is a matter of taste in agricultural vehicles. If you have farmed JD all your life and so did your father and grandparents you aren't likely to change. BUT Case IH with their Steiger know how are a force to be reckoned with, thats without Fendt who are coming up very quickly, then of course you have the "Group of Five" - NH, MF, as we call them in Europe. They might dominate a lot of the US market at present, but not all farmers like them and with more and more competition from Europe, and Japan (Kubota) who were displaying a lot of 'smaller' tractors at the 2019 show. OK some of them might not produce powerful (500hp+) machines but there are plenty of farmers who do not need all that power and are content with a 250hp tractor - that is what all the competition is eyeing up, and I think if JD are not careful they will overstretch on variety and that is where the competition are looking to get a 'foothold'. With margins on crops getting tighter everywhere if JD try and undercut by selling some of their range at a loss in order to keep their smaller customers they could be in for a price war.
