Pinky went to therapy even in the original series, and between the old show and reboot, and Brain only got hypnotized by Freud and went to megalomaniacs anonymous. They need couple's therapy.

- Pinky and Brain dressed up as Scarlet and Rhett from Gone With The Wind (The Megalomaniacal Adventures of Brainy the Poo)
- Brain and Pinky dressed as the king and queen in Hamlet’s produced play (The Melancholy Brain)
- Pinky and Brain deciding a name for Romy, Pinky telling Brain that he wants to have another kid, and when Brain explains his plans for the following night Pinky tells him that he has a headache (Brinky)
- Pinky using a mountain of mashed potatoes as his fairy kingdom and being the Queen of the Fairies and cheering Brain up by making him a mashed potato crown, proclaiming him as the King of the Fairies (Brain’s Night Off)
Adding fuel here
- Brain arguing that his and Pinky’s generation of mice had it worse. (Brinky)
- Pinky playing Brain’s wife Pinkinia to fool the press. (Meet John Brain)
- Pinky playing the same chase game with Brain that his parents always play. (The Family That Poits Together Narfs Together)
- Pinky getting very touchy and affectionately teasing Brain about his belly. (Pinky’s Plan)
- Pinky happily calling Brain a ”chubby boy” to which Brain responds ”I thought we had an agreement”. (Welcome to the Jungle)
- Pinky suggests one of them marries Prince Charles, Brain disses the guy’s ears, which leads Pinky to tuck in his own. (TV or Not TV)
In brains night off, they literally went on a date and that was the whole episode 💀

In the reboot Brain decided to save Pinky istead of kiling him like Brain from the alternate reality said. And that means that Pinky is more important for brain than taking over the world!
The original show's halloween episode had Brain (ruler of the world) give up the world (and any chance to take it over ever again, but to be fair this idiot didn't read his contract with the devil when he signed), for a chance to save Pinky who was being happily tortured in hell for eternity.
He trusts Pinky more than he trusts himself
He's given up the world one time because Pinky appreciated him
