It’s not at all difficult to understand why Liverpool and Chelsea are rivals rivalries aren’t only based on location Chelsea and Liverpool are consistently competing for top honours and they have a lot of iconic moments between them that have build the rivalry (such as the Gerrard slip) not to mention the way mourinho and everyone at the club began take games against Liverpool personally
I agree to some extent... But out of the top 6 I think liverpool and man, city are our least rivalled opponents, considering arsenal and spurs are our London derbies, and Fulham were our town rivals.
I wouldn't say clashes at the top of the table class as rivalries tho, they're just highly anticipated games...theres little to no history of rivalries between the teams...
