Not really. In Spanish, well when I was in high school, I learned that there are variants of Spanish. There is a kind of Mexican Spanish, which is what many learn in school. It's a simplified version. European Spanish is hard as fuck.
Hey I’m looking to buy a volt 2013 base. I’m not sure which trim you have but do all of them have break assistance? Thanks. BTW I’m form CT I saw ur tuned into KC 101.
oh crap! i just saw the video again. And Chevy has Spanish Mexican, hnder the settings tab. Sorry for giving you a hard time there. It all gave me a good laugh though! 😅😀👍🍺
I bought a 2012 Volt and need help discovering how to access it’s features. I got gas and couldn’t figure out how to open the door to the filler. I finally found the button but after I pushed it the gas filler door still didn’t open. Then I pressed the button and held it down. Easy, but not intuitive. So many features 😳
@@myloveusa1313 thanks for your comment, I absolutely love my Volt, have had it going on 5 years now, wow time flies. I had no major maintenance issues with the vehicle at all. The only con I would mention is the electric battery range 🪫 seems to drain very fast depending on your climate settings and how fast you drive. Going forward, if I choose to upgrade to another hybrid/ev then I would want longer range in the electric battery. When the ev battery runs out and the engine kicks in, then you’ll hear a noticeable difference. Overall, it’s a lovely first car and I’ve enjoyed my experience with it.
This was very thorough, but the presentation was given way too fast. I couldn't even see which buttons he was indicating. The diction was very unclear without subtitles, and I am a native English speaker. I guess I'll have too use the print version along with it.
Great review, so far the best one I have seen in youtube...I just had VW buy back my TdI and you helped me decide to purchase a volt. I had a laugh with the Spanish mexican thing.. I speak spanish but not Mexican Spanish.. Lol. Great video.
My mom owns a Prius and I've driven it a lot. This car drives WAY better - it's more stable and you can tell the center of gravity is better. The stability may be the weight of the battery pack or different tires. Both cars have low handling limits but the Volt handles better than the Prius.
This is a premium volt. What is it that a 2013 Chevy volt standard does not have compared to this? What's the difference? No leather heated seats is one of them.
My question is like for my commute can I pull out of the parking garage at work and use electric and let’s says at the stop light before I get on the highway turn it to hold mode and use gas and then when I get back off the highway turn it back to ev?
Yes, you can. In fact, you can switch it any time you want, even while at highway speeds. If I am driving far enough on the highway that I know I will have to use the gasoline engine anyway, I will switch to Hold Mode, especially if I am late and want to go over 65mph. This saves the battery power for city speeds where it is more efficient. But I try to minimize gas usage since the electric costs about 20% of what gas costs in my area.
No, the first 38-40 miles after a charge are completely electric unless you specify otherwise. If you use your entire electric charge, it then transitions to a standard combustion engine, getting about 30-40 mpg.
That Girl GG -- You don't have to charge the Volt. But being able to charge it is the raison d'etre for the Volt. My first drive, though, was the 1,500 miles from the dealer to home with only one 120v plugin. I got 43.2 mpg overall (2012 model - used). I did multiple runs on the Dragon Tail on that trip, some on electric only and some in ER mode. I didn't plug in that day. I used MM - mountain mode - to charge up for the electric runs. Fantastic car. Plug it in when you can, but enjoy it all the time.
Mexican, is Not a language! It's a person from that country. And Not all brown people are Mexican, only the one's from Mexico. Spoiler alert: all Latinos are American! They're a part of America! Extra spoiler alert: Canadians from Canada are also Americans 😝😅😂 Great review though!!!
35 mpg the way I drive, which is aggressively in Sport Mode with the shifter in Low. But when on the highway I can switch to Normal Mode with the shifter in Standard and get about 40 mpg if I am willing to drive under 60 mph. Which I rarely do.😎
"Mexican, Spanish". Lmao
Yeah, he read it and thought "shit" immediately.

Best video on the Volt! Its detailed and simple. Awesome job explaining to a newbie like myself. :)
Best review I've seen so far on operating the volt.

Very nice review. I wish every review on YT was this well done. You "get it". THANKS.
I was considering getting a Volt and after watching your video it will be my next car. Awesome job!

Just purchased a 2013 Volt today, so excited to get to know it. Thanks for your video!! Nice job!
Theres so many things on it. I'm a very tech savy guy and I still feel overwhelmed by all the menus and settings
Best review I have seen thus far! Thank you for taking the time to go over every detail. Now I know what to expect when I get my Volt!
I’m purchasing a 2013 Volt today, this video is super helpful, straight to the point, quick and easy. Thank you!!!

One year after you purchased your 2013 Volt, today I am purchasing my 2013 Volt!

Thank you for the tour. Will help when test driving. I hate feeling lost in a new car and trying to find the basic buttons.
This was super useful. New Volt owner here. Thanks for the review! :)

Awesome video! Also cute cat and dog :D
I was wondering where my egnition was. lol
I just purchased a 2014 volt and this video helped me so much. Thank you

do you have to have a xm radio subscription in order to get weather, movie, etc info?
How does it compare to the Prius?

Really good review. Keep up the good work.
Nice video. How's the AC function? Does it do well in hot weather? Or weak?

Is there a way to turn off that click noise everytime you press the back button in the infotainment system?
Going to purchase my first 2014 Chevrolet Volt next week, this video definitely helped to know what to expect!
Where your home button is mine says radio

Does this one have apple car play?
Mexican spanish? Haha wtf man 😓😓
Very good review.
So you don't use gas you just charge the Volt? The 2013 version

Can you just use the car only with gas or do you have to charge the car?

How set up the gps?
Didnt know Mexican was a language 😂😂
Mexican Spanish is a bit different than Spanish in other parts of the world.

John Walker funny thing is people call them not American...
Political correctness is overrated John Walker. You have been programed to care too much about it.
Jesus Christ, calm down.
Actually, Mexico uses different words for some parts of the language differing from Spanish
what;s the gas mileage on that car ?

Nice video! One thing: you didn't mention that the back center console is removable, so the back can be completely flat, with the seats down.
