His music will stay with us forever!!! Lovely and so spiritual...
Bob marley ❤❤❤❤❤❤
The saxophonist is so brilliant wow!
the man played like it was his last day jah know
YES yes yes
Absolutely true ...
God bless you 🙏😇🎭
Ohhhh q buenooo 😁
Songs like this don't age...
Bob's output was 100% positive always trying to uplift the underdog! I have nothing but love and respect for the man!
100%.
When I hear this tune I close my eyes and cultivate the spirit of a warrior. . We need it in this time.

When I was a baby my dad used to make me dance and sing « i’m gonna be iron like lion in zion » part, now that I’m a « grownup » I understand that he wanted me to have self-confidence. I love you dad ❤️
My dad played "Billie Jean" on bass for me until I fall a slap - then he switch to jazz for hours...That's why I am here today. ;)
Mihai Ionescu god bless our daddies ❤️
I only relate to "im on the run" cuz my dad was always lol

E ganja, sempre
Tujhea bapaiche kestanv.. anyone heard it at 1:40. It’s a Konkani phrase which means your father’s quarrel. Konkani is a language spoken in Goa, India. Marley had a Goan friend.
Yes
‘Tujea Bapaichem kestanv’ amazing indeed 😁🤗😘. Precious Bob Marley gone too soon. God bless your spirit to Rest In Peace 💐💐💐

Gives me Goosebumps, chills
Kinyas ve kayra okurken gözüme çarpan ufak bir ayrıntı ve müzikle beynimde yankı bulan ortam...
It's impossible to decide which is the best song Marley ever wrote, but whenever I think along those lines, this is the song I always hear.
For a posthumous remix of an unreleased track, it had no right to be this bloody fantastic, but it does everything right and vastly
improves on Marley's already great original recording.
The melody is superb; both filled with a fighting spirit and intensely beautiful. The I-Threes flawless vocals have rarely been used this
effectively in any arrangement, and the sax-playing is some of the best you'll ever hear outside of jazz.
Would Bob have liked it? Who knows. But when I hear it, I get pumped, I get sad, I start to smile and I get shivers up and down my spine.
And that, to me, makes it an essential listening experience.
@AzaZel Perhaps. I'm just trying to be honest. :)
When I was a boy I liked Bob Marleys music a lot, but I was sad when I found out he already died. So, one day, I heard someone was cleaning up some old stuff in a recording studio where Marley worked earlier in his life. The person put on an old tape to listen if there was anything interesting on it, but nothing but static and silence.. The person decided to go, to the bathroom, to the kitchen? I forgot. But the tape was still running, on high volume, but nothing.. And all of a sudden, this song started to play, on high volume. The person must have been amazed to hear Marleys selden (never?) heard before song so loadly, like a miracle from the distance. A beautiful story, hope it was true! :-D
I think what you say is true .I heard that a recording had been found and it was from the early 70s and the recording was quite bad quality,so it was cleaned up to sound better, possibly remastered and it was nearly 20 years after it was first recorded it went into the charts in 1992.
@@alunstone this was a real treat when it came out. Just like Buffalo Soldier ... When that Also came out post humously. Nice treat
the sax in the end is so timeless, the man had vision and passion for life...
@Kjell-Henry Dahlberg i highly doubt that
I didn't want to live anymore but this song brought some hope in this day, even if I know it for many years today I felt its energy and life fulness.
Courage my friend
👊 never give up!! LIVE IT UP!

Whenever I feel sad I come to this song, a truly masterpiece makes you feel so free and more importantly like a LION
The spirit of the King of reggae still lives on. I remember in Germany, your papa also liked Robert Nesta Marley.😆

Great song. 😎" I had to run like a fugitive to save the life I live... " Such great lyrics. 👌. Bob Marley number 1.
Tribe of Benjamin (Bob Marley). "Let the beloved of the YHWH rest secure in him, for he shilds him all day long, and the one the YHWH loves rests between his shoulders." (Deuteronomy 33: 12)
Shalom
I havent got a lion,so i call my dog,iron lion zion,ja bless you bob 🙏
This guy was an absolute hit parade. Name me another musical artist with dozens of hit songs that stand the test of time and make you feel something every single time you listen to them. Not just feel but think. It's actually unmatched. Bob Marley was pure magic.
i don't indulge...just love Marley's soulful tunes.
Damn, here I have been hearing this extraordinary catchy tune (the instrumental beginning) in early Dr. Damages shows on Sahara Reporters, all this while not knowing it was one of the King of Reggae's tunes. It was always resonating with me each time I heard it at the start of that show, and now even more that I'm listening the full tune. Adding it to my local media library!
Bob Marley remains the ONLY artist of whom complete Albums were worthy of joining my local media library.
Damn right I'm still listening. Spark up.
This music never gets old. It's genius.
Because you stupid human race forever fight tribal & racial wars.
When You see a lion - run! Unless the lion has dreads - then smoke a joint with him.

Every time I hear this song a tear comes out of my eye
This man was a musical genius.
Many people forget that Robert Marleys music would never spread without the other band members. Like Al Anderson, Donald Marvin, Earl Livingston, Carl and Aston Barrett. 🔥 🇯🇲 💥🎸 🎶
There is no one I mean no one who has inspired me more than Bob Marley, inspired me in every way
I had this song in my mind the other day, with not even listening to this, what a good song, anyone listening to this in 2020, I am not on the run, just unintentionally homeless, before the coronavirus, hope that people that see this song are doing well, unintentionally homeless, I did not want to be in a flat on my own, like to live with some people such a groovy tune. no more guns everyone
stay safe

Marley was arguably the world’s first globally recognized black superstar. He brought the feel and joy of reggae music to the white middle classes and was adopted worldwide as a symbol of love, freedom, and peaceful revolution. According to Forbes, Marley ranks at number five in the list of top-earning deceased celebrities.
Billboard claims that in the years since Marley’s death, he has become the most-recognized musician on the planet. His image appears on everything from T-shirts to headphones to coffee beans and, of course, his image is often used to promote marijuana for both recreational and medicinal use. Marley’s former home is one of Jamaica’s top tourist attractions.
wallis adriaan not the first black superstar
You could also argue that Sir Frank Worrell (one of the first black captains of the West Indian cricket team) was a very high figure.
Maybe not internationally-acclaimed but perhaps he was during the 1950's and 1960's.
James Brown and Little Richard (a homosexual black) were accepted before Bob.
@@irieite9666 not in whole world. for us, james brown and little richard were 1st world americans
