I remember well these amazing lovely creatures in our nearby rural home in Polo, IL. As a child we would chase them and sometimes put them in a glass jar. They were so harmless and like a sweet little glimmer of light in the darkness, with crickets singing in the background.
Thank you so much for this upload. Made my day! Until I moved out of NC, I used to visit the Smokies just to see this nature’s magic. Missing them here in Omaha, NE.
That's awesome! You should be able to see fireflies outside of Omaha. Right now is too late for fireflies, but try next year, by creeks, in nature preserves etc.
I just found your video while looking into the Elkmont firefly “festival”. I had never heard of it, but have always been fascinated with fireflies. I’m super excited about planning a trip to seen them this Spring. I hope it works out. Thank you for your gorgeous video. I hope it looks as beautiful in person.
Hello. I saw fireflies several times but my dream is to capture them on a video. May I ask what camera settings should I use to make them visible on a video? I would really appreciate your advice.
Hello, Radim. I see your photos where a hundred or more of these fireflies are lit up at once. Do you have any video of the moments when they do this; many of them all light up at once? I think people are actually stealing your photos to put in there own videos they make, probably in the parks in Tennessee or South Carolina, because they can't get video of that either.
Beautiful video Radim, thank you for using my track. Beautiful meaning 😎👏
Thank you!!!!!! Lovely music.

So beautiful!! I wish to fiind such a magical place to watch them live ...

What camera setting tips do you have for someone new to shooting fireflies?
