I cracked my mi 10 pro screen so I'm gonna wait for the mi 11 pro. I use the zoom cameras too much to not go for the pro lol. I just hope the battery life is good.

Remember no phone actually charges over the speed of 30 watts the companies divide the battery so it doesnt damage the battery so your not taking a risk if you charge at 120 watts

@@arm8636 i think the bigger problem is heat and heat can damage batterys but how much does it matter i dont even have a fast charger and my LG G7 heats up from charging charging

@@arm8636 it's not divided, thats why its getting a lot of heat when charging using 55w. Most of them says that having more batteries isn't a factor of less heating, but in reality phones with dual batteries tends to charge faster since it can be charged simultaneously. Also dual cell battery phones seem to heat less when using intensively, I think the principle in charging is correlated with this one, maybe dual cell batteries can supply the required power by the chipset simultaneously as well, that's why phone with dual batteries keeps the battery temperature not as hot as the phones with single battery only.
For me I don't mind waiting a few months just to see what the competition has to offer as well. Then again I am someone who does not really need a new phone right now so I guess it's subjective.

I got the Mi 11 yesterday and loving it so far. I had my old phone (Huawei Mate 10 pro) for 3 years already and felt that I needed an upgrade (mainly to 5G). That old phone was also starting to become slow. I don't really care that much about taking pictures or videos so the pro version has nothing to offer me. I have the 256GB version so I am good on storage as well. My huawei had 128GB and I never went past 80GB used. And I assume that the pro version will be at least 1K RMB more expensive than this one so it doesn't seem worth it to me.
I'm hoping much much larger heat sink because SD888 overheating and throttling issue.4500mah dual cell battery 120w fast charging and need spaces for more and bigger camera sensor(ov48c),IP rating

Definitely waiting for the Pro because of the telephoto lens. I am still using my Huawei Mate 20 Pro up until now and I want to get a replacement which will make me happy for 2 years or more, especially in times when you have to spend around 1k EUR for a device.

Frankie, do you think that despite the Mi 10i being out in the market now it is still better to get the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G? The latter even comes with 256GB of memory. Please, let me know as mi Redmi Note 4 is about to die, and I need to upgrade. My main concern is the Chinese apps and chinese wording in the RN9P5G. It is even $100 cheaper on ebay now compared to the Mi 10i. Thanks, and I hope to hear from you soon.

Bro nice review I have pick up mi 11. I was going to wait for mi 11 global or mi 11 pro but that would mean pay alot more which I think is not right. Mi 11 have great deal now.
The only thing that is bugging me a bit is the screen on time.

I will still wait. My Mi 10 Pro has 256 and telephoto. Only difference where 11 has a definite edge is 90 vs 120 hz refresh rste, display brightness and resolution. Not big enough reasons to pull the trigger.

i think find x2 pro is a better deal over this if you don't need wireless charging, in Europe it can now be found for 699€. Would choose it for storage and camera quality (telephoto included)

I'm waiting for the RPO, as the normal Mi 11 is groundbreaking - BUT only as a Xiaomi Device... In totall its a top flagship. I hope thath the PRO version will offer sometfing crucial and new, like most o the Samsung devices do offer on the relase (flag-ship models). ATM im using S20 Ultra and i see no sense to switch fot Mi 11. But hopefully, the PRO model will give me some reasons.

I own the Poco X3 which I really like. I have a lot of respect for Xiaomi and I think this Mi 11 is a great phone but given the competition it's not priced right.
What would you price it at?
Ok , I don't want to pull out the entire specs sheet but 600$ for Snapdragon 888 , 1440p@144hz HDR10+ display , 4600mAh battery , 55w charging , and 3 great cameras are not enough for you ?
@@FrankieTech $550 maybe $600. As I said it is a good phone but it does have compromises. No microSD card, No water and dust resistant, no headphone jack, no 4K video recording on the front camera. Even the 1080p is just 30fps not even 60fps. The size of the battery (4600mAh) I would say is okeyish.
Having the SD 888, that fast charging and 120HZ doesn't justify that price.
This phone is not only competing against newly recent releases in that price range but also against past flagships with discounted prices.
I bought the S10 5G on Amazon Renewed for just £398 basically new (no accessories). I'm not particularly fan of the S20 FE but you can find it for less than £650 here in the UK and I assume around the same in other currencies. I even recently saw it for £557.

The SD is not a massive lead from the 865. The fast charging is fine but anyone would be more than happy with 30-33W even 25W. It has 2 good cameras I wouldn't call them great. The macro is just useless. There are other phones even from Xiaomi itself with the same camera quality.
@@Soto-Tech2020 Macro isn't useless . Sure those 2mp ones that we see in budget phone are of course , pretty bad . But the Macro camera used in Mi 11 is kinda unique . It is called Telemacro , it has both 2x optical zoom and macro capabilities and the quality is also great .

I doubt that the mi 11 pro will worth it over the mi 11. The screen its already awesome in this one, the sound its also good and the camera array does its job well enough.

I hope Mi 11 Pro will have a better cooling system/vapor chamber that will keep SDM 888 cooler than the Mi 11. There's no point having all the power power only to have it throttled 5-10% due to overheating
