I lost my dad almost 3 years ago at 94. You expect it but it doesn't make it easier on your heart. May all the happy memories carry you through this time. Lovely cardigan! Yay for finishing items! you deserve a cast on or 2 ... or 3 ... or a dozen!! xx

I also need to declutter, so after completing a poncho from stash, I went and bought yarn for a pattern I fell in love with on Instagram 😂. But I’ve also started knitting a rug from cotton yarn from my stash. So, on balance, that might work.

Usually silent, but enthusiastic listener sends you and yours all the best thoughts and wishes for the time to come. Tears and laughter, yes, definitely! I lost both parents a few years ago and when sorting the house I found out that they had stored all the paintings I had made as long as I lived at home. Being the only one of us lot of siblings who is completely inept at drawing it was nice to have a look at my acomplishments and find out, yep, the grace of time also didn't help. Still, I love my parents to have kept my "treasures". All the best to you!
