The fact that these smart glasses come with prescription lenses is amazing! Most brands make it an afterthought, but these look like they were designed with real-world use in mind. Would love to get a pair when available.
It's actually the dumbest thing that the other companies don't make that their primary focus. Especially when the majority of the market of glasses wearers are those who have them for prescription.

As someone who's been following the smart glasses industry since Google Glass launched, I've seen too many products that miss the mark. They often feel more like clunky tech gadgets than something you'd actually want to wear every day. The industry has gone too far in prioritizing flashy features over practical usability. We need smart glasses that are comfortable for all-day wear and integrate naturally into our daily routines.
It's crucial to have smart glasses with practical and essential features-easy access to notifications, smooth digital integration, and a design that looks like regular eyewear. It's also refreshing to see this brand make real efforts to incorporate prescription lenses seamlessly, something other smart glasses often overlook. They’re on the right track, creating glasses that are both stylish and functional, making them a viable option for everyday use. This is the direction the industry needs to take to make smart glasses truly wearable and essential in our daily lives.

i've seen many companies attempt the digital glasses and honestly none have impressed me until now. i really feel that you guys are closer to figuring this type of product out than any company i've seen so far. one of my biggest issues with this type of product is that the glasses rarely ever looked like "normal" prescription glasses, and if not for those two bulkier antennaes on the temples, i could totally see these being standard contemporary style glasses.
as long as you stick to the single-purchase, no subscription formula, and ensure very good battery performance, i think your product really has a shot at becoming the tech enthusiast's go-to pair.

This is the 'smart glasses' approach I have personally been waiting for all this time. I have ADHD and need constant visual or aural reminders to stay on task. I cannot wait to try them! Cheers!
I'm actually so devastated that I JUST got the Solos smart glasses, had I seen this when it came out I'd have been ordering these. In a year when it's time for new glasses, I'll be hitting these up.
In really like this iteration of glasses, but I usually wear tinted glasses for working outdoors. Instead of regular glasses, I'd love to see some sun-glasses with this tech inside as well. G-1 tech is so compact, honestly you could probably fit it inside of 90 % of the models most people are familiar with out there.
Another model I personally would buy, would be a medical professional pair used for translation and note taking. If you could get the AI to work, I could notate while in surgery. A pair with a stronger Microphone that filters the sounds of the surroundings to pick up mumbled speech would be perfect. Since everyone mumbles and has masks on during surgery, this would be a great alternative to a hearing aid. having two sets could really streamline patient interaction if they don't speak english as well. And to top it off, Instead of nurses checking my phone while I'm in surgery, i could see messages myself more privately while in surgery.

Having been a big fan of Mykita glasses for years for my regular use, I saw the hinge on these things and thought, damn, this has potential if Mykita is involved in the design - actual designers behind this along with the solid tech that is not trying to overpromise full blown XR, and focusing on doing a few useful things well. I have now pre-ordered. I just hope they allow devs to communicate to the glasses to get mic data and to send data to the screen for custom things too.

@@giinnoo08 like looking at ekg which will be captured by camera, rum through AI and interpretation coming on glasess. Similar with rashes. If co-ordinated with Littman core then can be good for cardiac differentials. Also good for differentials based on specific words spoken on mic like fever, jaundice abdominal pain. Similar applications just by looking at lab results and blood gases and radiological pics. Computing intensive and bandwidth intensive I must say.

They look awesome. I thought they look nice without knowing they are smart. Now i think its even more awesome. But the question is. How long is battery runtime? If this are supposed to be everyday glasses how long you need to charge the? How long does it work and can you change the battery without needing to buy another pair in some years?

Battery life may vary depending on usage, but our design focuses on longevity. While the battery isn't user-replaceable, our customer service team is always ready to assist with any future battery concerns.
Will there be an option to have Transition type lens that will darken in sunlight? I always have my prescription lenses with this feature.

I can see it now.. Add a feature, double tap the ai chat button to switch between ai's with a little pop-up on display that shows which one you are on. Create an 'app store' of ai chat bots (with different system prompts for different uses, perhaps even let users set their own api/system prompt). Further down the road, even realities could let their ai take the initial prompt and then go from there 'navigate to..' 'start the meeting teleprompt'.. 'translate chinese to english'.. 'ask perplexity'.. 'ask claude'.. Also, you could expand on the notes functionality so that you can then ask the ai questions for it to reference your entire notes database as a second brain. Save, retrieve. Instantly. Great thing is all this is possible with the G1, because its all controlled through the app. The glasses are basically just a display and mic. I pre-ordered yesterday and am excited.

Smart glasses with a display have always felt 2 years away, Meta almost hit the head on the nail but the display is why most people would want to buy it! These glasses look more like normal glasses than the meta Ray-Bans and manage to put a display in it. im definitely looking into these when reviews start coming out!

G1 works independently of Wi-Fi or mobile data for basic functions. However, to access features like Translate, Navigate, and Even AI, your phone needs an internet connection and the Even Realities app.

I've been wearing contacts for years. Idk whether to forgo the contacts and wear these or buy 2 pairs 😅
The main concern is going to be battery. Very small tech like this with AI and everything else in it cannot come with a 24-hour battery life unless they do something crazy
We understand battery life is important for every use. G1 lasts up to 1.5 days with typical use, and the G1 Case extends that to 5 days by providing an additional 2.5 charges.
The glasses are 'dumb', just a super power efficient display, mic, and Bluetooth. All processing done on the phone/on cloud via the app. Makes it super future proof.

Do these glasses have an option for people that suffer with photophobia
Hi there. G1 incorporates blue light filtering technology to reduce eye strain. And the optional G1 Clip offers additional UV protection for outdoor use.
If you have severe photophobia, we recommend consulting with an eye care professional.
Remove the controls from the glasses it self and put it in a ring 💍
Then add some fitness stuff on the ring to make it Worth it

Why not use red for the color instead of green? Isn't red better for your eyes?
Hi there, we have a team of optometry professionals at Even Realities dedicated to ensuring eye health. Additionally, green is actually the most eye-friendly color for humans.
Besides the teams response. Red is best for low detection signature at night, but it is best to read with at night. Meaning, from a distance its harder to see but useful close up. Green is actually more noticeable and bright in low light situations. Green was the reason why night vision technology has been that way for decades.

You guys should sell adjustable temples and films and that fit on existing glasses. I know it might not always look the best or work with every kind of glasses but the horror if these lens break, Im sure that you guys dont have any service for my country. Or you could continue what youre already doing if earning money is essential for your innovation.
