How many fellow brits are pissed that they and Netflix calls this a Netflix original when it’s a bbc show lol
CapuletRose well it's netflix now, along with Last Kingdom. They alone are finding future seasons!
NoHo Shaz No it’s not Netflix now it’s just shown on Netflix to reach a higher audience across the world. Season 5 will be on BBC. Netflix will get it on their like a year later probably.
If you’re British and care about that then you’re a idiot.
@@tigerbait134 The BBC is TV licence funded. We directly paid for its production. Netflix getting the credit is rightly pissing people off.
Brits are pissed off, not pissed, because in Britain pissed means drunk.
Peaky FOOKIN Blinders!!!
Just brought Tommy's suit.
It's golden as fuck
ARFFFFFUURRR
wait this video just came out didn't it? hows is your comment from 2 weeks ago tf
It was on Patreon 2weeks ago!
F-I-N-A-L-L-Y.
By the order of the Peaky Fooking Blinders!!!
Peaky fooking Blinders!!👍🏽
God damn the peaky fooking blinders
Not a Netflix original guys.
Here's a little list of names, that might be useful to you:
*Thomas "Tommy" Shelby* the main guy in the Peaky Blinders
*Arthur Shelby* Tommy's older brother
*John Shelby* Tommy's younger brother
*Finn Shelby* Tommy's youngest brother
*Ada Sheby* Tommy's sister
*Aunt Polly* their paternal aunt.
*Freddie Thorn* Communist agitator, Ada's boyfriend
*Grace Burgess* barmaid and agent of the crown
*Danny "Whizz-Bang" Owen* member of Peaky blinders, suffers from PSD
*Chief Inspector Campbell* new head of the police in Birmingham
*Jeremiah "Jimmy" Jesus* a preacher who is a member of the Peaky Blinders
*Uncle Charlie* he works at the yard and take care of the horses. He brought Danny Whizz-Bang by boat to London.
*Billy Kimber* Crime boss, leader of the Birmingham Boys
don't you mean PTSD?
They all suffer from PTSD all the men were in the war
I'm gutted that we didn't get to see your reactions to Tommy "shooting" Danny in the back of the head but this show has many react-worthy moments to come. Also, when Tommy was telling Arthur his plans regarding their horse I'm sure that was for the benefit of the audience so we can get a glimpse at how his mind works. I'm looking forward to the rest of this series run with the excitement of an 11 year old girl going to a unicorn convention.
Peakeh fookin Bloindahs! My fav show, so hyped!
PCGaming I see you freaking everywhere.
GOT, Vikings, and now Peaky
there's also black sails.. but yeh! xD peaky blinders is incredible and I have no life
Mathias S. You find him also with the normies, blind wave, sithfurion, lm reactions 😂
Actually just binged this entire show this week, its absolutely amazing, one of my favourites ever.
omfg!!! HYPE doesn't describe how excited i am to watch you guys react to this!!! U made my Tuesday!!!
This show is amazing it will continue to get better and better.
Excited you guys are doing this and love this group. I just watched this a couple weeks ago and binged it in like 2 days. Can't wait for the next season!
Thomas reminds me of Ragnar, they think similarly
ess double-u They kinda have the same story too if you think about it
Agreee
jesus fucking christ its is tho.
I really wanted to watch and like this show because it did seem similar to vikings but Grace just annoys the hell out of me and i hate her
love both characters
When I watched the show I was impressed Sam Neill was able to do such a great accent. I then looked him up and it turns out he was born in Northern Ireland, no wonder he nailed it.
Came up in my recommendations....Pretty damn hype to watch you guys go through this amazing series. You guys just got a sub!
Sam Neill apparently was born and lived in Northern Island until he was 7 at which point he moved to New Zealand. Born to an English mother and New Zealand father. I'm unsure whether his mother was raised in Northern Island but his Irish accent in the show is great.
Sam Neill had to get help from Liam Neeson and another Northern Irish actor in order to perfect his accent.
Yea I read someone elses comment about that apparently it was James Nesbitt and that sounds about right because he sounds very similar in the show
iwant alexhøgh who pissed in your cornflakes?
Northern Ireland not northern island jesus Christ!!!
So hyped to rewatch this with you guys!!
You guys are gonna need subtitles for this. Just saying.
Heck I'm from North England and I need subtitles to understand the Brummies in this show. Birmingham accents are the worst
I’m from London & still do lool
example it’s not like we can’t understand a word they’re saying
I think you need an ego check.
I'm actually from Birmingham and I NEED subtitles for most of the actors in the show (no joke). The majority of the actors in the show (although they try their best) have poor impersonations of Brummie accents, making it pretty difficult for real Brummies (actually from where this show is supposed to be set) to even understand what they're saying. LOL.
Technical fookin' difficulties
They blinded the camera for looking at them all wrong, loike.
It's unfortunate what happened to the footage, but this was a good cover. Rather have this than nothin, thanks!
YESSSSSS! This is the best show most people haven’t heard of since the only US distributor it has is Netflix and the show isn’t advertised a lot in America. I recommend this show to everyone I know. Also Tom Hardy is epic in this show!
Thanks for reacting to this, this show is lit
Btw, Sam Neil is from New Zealand and has had a very long storied acting career, starting way before you were born or really paying attention. ☺Reilly, Ace of Spies, Cry in the Dark (a dingo ate my baby!) Dead Calm, Hunt for Red October, the Piano and the original Jurassic Park! And He's a stud character in this series!
Omg yesss! So glad you peeps are reacting to this.
So I studied history at University of Birmingham, lived in Brum for seven years, love Cillian Murphy and Paul Anderson (I’ve seen both of them on stage, they’re excellent actors)....and yet I’ve not watched this show. So many people have told me to, I’m glad to have now finally started.
A few points for you (probably already answered by others, but whatever) Sam Neill is originally from Northern Ireland, but grew up in New Zealand, and is doing his native Ulster (northern Ireland) accent, and Cillian Murphy is from (southern) Ireland doing a Brummie accent. Those are two of the most notorious accents in the U.K. Northern Irish is very hard and harsh. It sounds tough and uncompromising. Brummie is an accent that, rather unfairly, makes anyone in the U.K. think you are an idiot. It will be interesting to see how they play against, and to, type with these accents. Er in case it ain’t clear, Brum is Birmingham, and Brummie is someone from there. It was the manufacturing centre of the empire in 1919, but by English standards a very young city, really only founded in the 19th century. Helen McCrory (the matriarch) was also in Harry Potter (Draco’s mum) and is married to Damian Lewis (Homeland). Iddo Goldberg (the Bolshevik) is married to Ashley Madekwe (Revenge), they met on the Billie Piper show Secret diary of a call girl. Phew, knew I could tie it all back to Doctor Who somehow.
A much simpler way of linking it to *Doctor Who* would have been to point out that at least 5 *Doctor Who* actors have filmed in the various *Peaky Blinders* locations across *Bradford.*
For example:
1 - The cemetery where *Tommy* buries the guns in *Peaky Blinders* is the same cemetery where *David Tennant* works in *LA Without a Map.*
2 - There's a strong possibility *Matt Smith* filmed in *Bradford City Hall* for the upcoming 2019 film *Official Secrets* which is used as the *Birmingham Midland Hotel and Bar* and the *Prison* in *Peaky Blinders.*
3 - *Jenna Coleman* used *Bradford City Hall* in series 3 of *Victoria.*
4 - *David Morrissey* starred in *The Red Riding Trilogy* which used countless *Bradford* locations which I'm pretty sure included a couple of *Peaky Blinders* locations.
5 - *Jo Joyner* starred in *No Angels, North and South* and *Ackley Bridge* which are all partly filmed in *Bradford.* I can't remember if she appeared in the scenes themselves but *Keighley Railway Station, Dalton Mills* and *Bradford City Hall* are three *Bradford* locations from those shows which also appear in *Peaky Blinders.*
Super excited you're starting one of my favorite shows!
Peaky is one of the best shows on atm. another example of how the BBC do the BEST dramas
Not always. *ITV* did most of the UK's best dramas, until the 2010's when *ITV* declined in quality with the majority of the shows they make, while the *BBC* improved.
However *ITV's* drama's are as good as they've always been, as I've found out in the last 15 months, with *Unforgotten* being my personal favourite.
Other *ITV* dramas from the 2010's that I've seen in the last year include: *Cleaning Up, Victoria, The Bletchley Circle, The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco, The Frankenstein Chronicles, Prime Suspect 1973, DCI Banks, Scott & Bailey, Home Fires, Vanity Fair, The Loch, Prey, Joe Maddison's War* and *Grantchester.*
Other well loved *ITV* dramas from the 2010's which I haven't seen yet, or have only seen bits of include: *Downton Abbey, Mr Selfridge, Vera, Endeavour, Maigret, Black Work, The Suspicions of Mr Whicher, Marple, Doc Martin, Whitechapel, Titanic, The Great Fire, Poirot, Him, Tutunkhamun, The Making of a Lady, Jamaica Inn, Harlots, Houdini and Doyle, Jekyll and Hyde, Foyle's War, Marcella, Midsomer Murders, Blue Murder, Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands, Harlots, Breathless, Mrs Biggs, Cilla, The Fixer, Jericho, Innocent, Chasing Shadows, Bancroft, Above Suspicion, Paranoid, Girlfriends, Fearless, Liar, Strangers, Little Boy Blue, Tina and Bobby, Lucan, Doctor Thorne* and many many more.
Damn, these guys all know Sam Neil from Jurassic Park while I was just remembering the goddamn Oscar worthy performance he gave in the first season of The Tudors
Ace of Spies and Merlin were my go-to Sam Neill stuff as a youngster.
Omg. Reilly ace of spies was awesome! I though I was the only fan! Lol!
Hunt for Red October for me. *"I would like to have seen Montana.."*
Dead Calm.
Noooooo way! This is so epic! Loved the series, cant wait for these reactions!
In this time only gambling at race tracks was allowed
Just finished watching this such a great show really underated
Oh yeah , i thought u guys will not reaction of this drama, but u guys do this !!!! Hell yea
Love a show that you can get lost in when it was set. I've only watched Season 1, but it looks like im going to have to stay infront of you guys.
Good stuff
If yous can get past the 1st season then it gets absolutely incredible but don't get me wrong season 1 is good but nothing on the later seasons.
Ahh finally you guys started this show! I live right next to the garrison pub, its honestly one of the best shows ever.
Ps: you might need subtitles, our accents are not the easiest to understand lol
The ending of this show is the best ending to a long running TV series I've ever seen
Also the peaky blinders were a real gang
There will be a movie with the real ending but even if there was no movie: the ending was actually pretty bad...for the characters! Tommy lost his family, his son does not like him. Finn lost his family, Arthur is an addict, ada will face even more discrimination, lizzy lost her child. Tommy survived but he is very broken.
I love this show! Thank you for reaction!
Some scenes were filmed at the Black Country museum in Dudley, England.
The Black Country is an area in the centre of England that was heavy industry such as steel works, foundries etc. The area was black with smoke and soot hence the name.
Sam Neill is from New Zealand, but we Australians like to claim him like most good things from New Zealand.
As a New Zealander, I concur. 😂
But he's kept his British citizenship... So he's a Kiwi Brit the Aussies want - this is starting to sound like a cricket match... ;)
He grew up in New Zealand but he was born in Ireland
so fucking hyped yall are starting this show, it starts out at a 10/10 and just gets better
I love Peaky Blinders! I am so excited you guys are finally watching it! It's a great show!
FINALLY. I HAVE WAITED FOR THIS MOMENT FOR 2 FOOCKIN YEARS!!!
YES FINALLY!! One of my favourite shows ever, the actors and storylines are magnificent! Tommy is one of my favourite characters!
Omg omg Omg yes! This show is soooo good. Stick with it! Excellent story, production & actors! SIDE NOTE: it has fantastic cinematography, production tech and set/production design, SURAJ should watch it! Maybe not in this react group but in all his spare time! Truly beautiful done, kind if a slow burn. And just WON BAFTA for BEST DRAMA SERIES!! ima fangurl. Can you tell?
It's a BBC programme. Cillian is pronounced as though it has a K . Killian. Not pronounced Sillian,
Interesting to see people from different countries watching this. I'm from near Birmingham in the black country and it's cool to see the area and accent being recognised Haha
Cillian is pronounced Killian not seellian
anyone who has 2 decades of googling experience can naturally find that info within 5 seconds of checking out info about this show, but i guess the normies are always too busy editing
This is the content I want!!!!!!!!!!! I love this show!!
This reminds me of the Knick another period piece tv show. Love period piece tv show, the Knick had a great start but felt it got lost with the main character going in and out of rehab, from what I can remember.
This show is great. The opening music alone is perfect. The writing is excellent.

YES!! I love this show. Awesome choice
You cut the best part😭”I do the thinking so you don’t have to”
Such a underrated show.
I’m from Birmingham too
I would put PEAKY BLINDERS up there with VIKINGS as one of the few amazing period television series. Like VIKINGS, the show gets better with time.
If you like period pieces then you'd love boardwalk empire
I'm gonna start peaky blinders too
Sam Neill is from New Zealand, although I'm sure somebody else has mentioned it lower down.
Love this show!
