Just picked up a pair of aces this weekend. Quality is superb. Runs super bigger had to downsize 1 1/2 to 2 sizes. Hopefully they keep these around later in the future as j will be buying another pair some time

Here in the US, apparently it’s “normal” to pay 400 and up for USED sneakers, that weren’t even half the price when they were brand new. It never ceases to baffle me why people do that. I’ll stick to my Italian calf skin or French canvas. If ya know ya know
The only thing I can told you 90% if the "leather" not comes from Italy you will be surprised how dirty cheap is....but once they put "Made in Italy" Price is 400% up mark so do the math....😎
I just laugh when sneaker heads are so thrilled about paying +500-1000 on resell for some shoes with fake leather glued together and made in China and call them drip! If it ain’t made in France, Italy, or Spain it isn’t really drip. Nike’s are just overpriced Chinese goods with great marketing behind them! Love the Aces! All time classic. My new favorite white sneakers are the LV Luxembourg in white with black lettering.

I personally would use something like a Jordan 1 as a benchmark for sizing instead of a Chuck Taylor, since Chucks tend to fit narrow and long. Not by much, but you can notice it if you don't have wider feet. Jordans are usually much more consistent with what most people would consider "true to size". That said, Gucci's website recommends going half a size down, but in the size selector they calculate it for you (men's 12 = gucci 11.5). Just figured I would throw that out there.
I bought those Gucci Ace sneakers and returned them. They are stiff, flat and uncomfortable out of the box. People reviewed that sneaker and some got blisters when breaking them in.
They're okay. There's nothing that amazing about the quality. They wear like any other all leather low top with a 360⁰ cup sole welt. They last about 2 years. Stan smiths do the same job for 1/6th the price. I buy the Gucci sneakers anyway--for exactly the same reason people drop $1000 on some Nikes: hype. I like the fact that people notice the bee. So, maybe lighten up on the hype Nike kids.

Overall, it seems the Prada Downtown sneaker will wear better. I don't know for certain, but if you can buy a pair, review them, and return it. Thanks.

Leather shoes will eventually crease though. It all depends on what you’re doing when you wear them.
