When I still had a dog, I kept my cats’ food bowls on the kitchen counter in an area I didn’t do food prep (and I clean before doing any food prep anyways). My dog would eat the cat food if I had it down on the ground and then he’d get digestion issues that I’d have to clean up after.
Also, for anyone who hasn’t ever had a cat, good luck trying to teach them to stay off the counters.
💯 if only the ppl that comment stuff like this could see how “clean” the restaurants they eat at are.

Same😊 I have a cute wooden elevated feeder I keep on a table runner on my table. I have to have it there or my lab chows it down. I just wipe the table down with disinfectant cleaner before meals. Its all about function🌻😊

When we had our cat she stayed away from the sink area because she hated water. She loved the basement window...so I have no problem that your cats like your kitchen window. Your home is so lovely. You keep it up nicely.

Tori I do the same thing! We moved into our custom build a few years ago & since then I am using less and less in my decor. The clutter gives me anxiety really. I commend you and your husband for all of your hard work & what you have accomplished at such a young age. I am sure you will get your dream house, keep striving for your dreams.

My cat also goes on everything. So I just make sure before cooking and eating at the dining table that I clean it with a disinfectant just in case she went on it. Cats are cats and they are stubborn and climbers from nature. People that don't own cats can't relate
