This was an exact replacement for the old one that lasted about 10 years. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx7yWIKcrbA9KMHkGSfcgxW2lsjHT6B8Sh The top of my mitigation tube by my roofline was just a 90 elbow which allowed too much debris to fall down into the fan, eventually ruining it. Without this issue, I bet it would have kept running another 10 years. When I replaced this fan, I added an extra elbow joint so the top tube now it does a 180, which should solve that problem. The radon guys around here wanted to charge me a $300 diagnostic fee, then parts/labor (probably close to $600 total). I installed this all by myself in about an hour for the cost of the fan; it would probably be even easier/faster with two people. FYI the manufacturer's warranty greatly differs depending on whether you install it yourself (1 yr warranty) or have a licensed installer do it (10 yrs).
Thank you. Would u know why my heater won’t turn on? There’s no display in circuit board when turned on. Is there a reset button somewhere? Model NR 240. Thanks!
Thanks! Condensate trap was sludgy. Appreciate that tip. Note to homeowners to put a bucket under trap when you unclip and clean it out as you’ll get 1/4 cup of gunky water coming out.
My system turn on by itself. I have walked into the house at 95 degrees for no reason. The thermostat is set at 50 but somehow, the heat comes on by it self and the house gets super hot , Do you have any suggestions? My thermostat is very simple you go up or down to set it. It is not the programable thermostat so I am not sure why heat is it turning on by itself.
I got a nasty surprise when I removed the white cap, ensure to put a small bucket under! Any tips for dropping PSI? My max is 16.7, I recall it used to hit 22 a couple years ago.
The mask was to much. Never once wore one. If someone asked I told them it was a safety hazard. Most people that wear them are to stupid to realize you aren’t serious. Otherwise call someone else.
Dude, you just made me look like a superstar. Pregnant wife at home and woke up to a 58F house. Fixed in 10 min. You're the man. Put a bucket under that plug. Sludge comes out!
My 3 way valve went on mine and it is only 2 yo. The symptom was 777 LWCO going off every now and then. Found only once summer hit because another symptom is that the base board pipes got hot when water called. Finally got no hot water.
Great video . I liked how you point out that the exhaust pipes were too close , I will make sure my install is done correctly and have the screen covers followed by keeping them apart . Cheers 🇨🇦
Thanks. Mine would not turn on. I was getting error 22. Then I was getting error 27. My air intake screen was pretty dirty. Cleaned it. Still wouldn't go. Went outside & cleaned what I think was the soffit vent for it. Still wouldn't go. So next I pulled off that water condensation catcher cover. What a mess! Should have warned me to put a small bucket under it 1st. Filthy water went everywhere. About 1/2 liter I'd guess. I put the cover back on while still spraying out. I wasn't sure if it would stop. If maybe it was perhaps needing the input water shut off. But I went & got a small bucket & tried again & it did finish running out pretty quick after. I had a big mess of filthy water spray to clean up. The white cap was quite full of grunge. Had to dig it out about an inch deep. Compacted dirt. Then I cleaned it & put back in. I cleaned all inside the unit, also the outside & all around to make it look nice. And have it all dry. I gave it a quick check & turned it on. It works. Yay. So I guess I was experiencing both of your 1st two common issues. My unit is a Navien NP240 NG. I live in White Rock, British Columbia, Canada. Thanks for saving me hundreds of dollars. Didn't cost me a dime.
Thank you sir! I didn’t think to look at the condensate drain. I was hearing a gurgling from the boiler. I couldn’t understand how air would be getting in the system but that’s because I wasn’t. The gurgling was from the condensate. I saw an e003 error and e110 errors for reference. About a half cup of water came out of the drain then gurgling sound was gone.
Thank you for the video - the second issue haloed and got my water heater working again. Will wait and watch to see if it’s working as expected now. Thanks a lot though. 🙏

It was covered under warrantee but not labor. Paid over $500 to fix.

Good info but very annoying video.
I cleaned the trap on the bottom. It was filled with dirt. The hot water worked right away. Thanks a lot.

Good job on the video and good job on catching those vent terms being too close
Can you explain the correct orientation of the condensation trap? I got dripping from the white cap after cleaning. TIA
Thank you!!! I can take a bath now! That condensation plug thing was full.

Can you go over flowtech water treatment. Does it work?

I wish this guy would take his mask off so he doesn't sound like Charlie Browns teacher. I can't hear him☹
cant hear you, maybe if you took the mask off?
Go watch someone else for free info
Very poor filming cant hear him..please practice your cinematography
why are you wearing a mask alone? its 6 feet distance
Because the homeowners were still worried about plandemic. I have another video of the exact same problem with better footage and no mask check it out
