Our apartment is about a 20 minute walk from there back down to the Consum. The weather has been amazing in January and February and we cant wait to get out there full time when we get our NLV which we will be applying for in June. Ferry is pre-booked for 23rd August from Portsmouth to Santander 🙏🙏

What are the insulation standards of these new builds like? I find Costa Blanca to be lovely on winter days when its clear and sunny but always cold indoors at night and on cloudy days.

I live in La Siesta next to the La Mata lake and there`s absolutely no smell from that one not sure about the other one though...

We chose this region to start with due to Alicante and the airport. Regular flights all year round from
Scotland.
Costa Blanca must be lot cheaper than Costa Del Sol as less developed

Always neglected once houses built ,weeds and dog dirt ,only complaint
its a shame most places dont do theae deals in the evening.not many people want a curry or chinese for lunch

Nice, yes before Brexit I lived there in that area, now stuck in the UK with the worst weather ever, today the weather is disgusting overcast and wet.
I thought there were ways to stay in Spain full time? Plus 180 a year if split between UK and Spain

@@wowitsshit9734 oh right. I wasn't sure of the rules and costs. Just knew that some people have stayed out there. So annoying as it has had a real impact on people like yourself. I was originally thinking on retiring out there but notvso sure since brexit
@@brucefellowes4848 I'll warn you, they won't let you keep a foot in each country, if you have money and property in the UK and retire to Spain, they'll eventually come after that for double taxation! They force you to choose basically, all or nothing! It's very cruel if you ask me but so is Brexit.
Unless they lose the 90day Rules, not many Brits will not live there. Portugal is a far better option in that respect, property too is a better quality & cheaper!!
@TheDickPuller Spain recorded its 2nd best year ever last year for tourists! Whilst the Brits can't get over more, the rest of Europe is taking over and spending more on newly built property. Brits won't pay 300k for a holiday home.
@@ScottishCoupleInSpain Portugal is far more welcoming for Brits, always has been.
Spain has become a bit of a sh.thole!! The Spanish hate Brits because of Gibraltar.
