Use a WOODEN SPOON. Olive oil, sparingly Shopped bacon Minced onion + garlic Chillie flakes or cut up any fresh big pepper Cut up green leaves SERVE OVER WHITE RICE That is so good. Yummy.
You can cook the whole radish, greens to roots! In fact, roasted radishes are one of my favorite foods. They’re great as a side dish with a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar and an excellent addition to hearty soups, too. 👍🏼
I hated to just compost them so now I can eat them and be happy! Also to answer your question. The radishes can be sliced and fried like potatoes and do well in the oven. They are a great alternative to potatoes.
i've grown my own radishes and discovered that a certain age they get little stinging hairs. Are these any kind of concern in eating? especially when raw?
Like all leafy greens they should be blanched properly then chopped and sauteed. Formula works for all of em with blanching times varying. A good test is add greens to salted boiling water. When it returns to a slight boil take em out and cold shock. Enjoy
I guess you better make one up! Maybe roast or fry or pickle the radish tubers, and cook the greens like this (can mix in dandelion or kale or spinach or other greens), and add something else to the plate to complete it?
You're supposed to end by actually tasting it or consuming it with something and describing the taste; otherwise, this whole exercise is of marginal video value. I would NEVER use that spatula in a frying pan.
Use a WOODEN SPOON.

Saute bacon, onion, tomato, garlic then add greens.
Many people are absolutely amazed on just how many greens from their garden that they can actually eat, other than regular potatoes and tomatoes. 🤤🤤🤤🤗
I just tried this and I am pleasantly surprised! Thanks I will always use these greens when I have them now.

I like radish greens in smoothies. No oil, salt, and all the enzymes and vitamins.
Thanks for sharing! I love the distinct taste of radishes. I'm so going to try the leaves cooked simply like yours.
Thank you the wonderful quick tip, after washing throw the water in the garden.
I always turn the greens into pesto with olive oil, salt garlic and almonds. Great on pasta.

They are also a real treat when pickled. Try.
Yes! Keto friendly. I even use them like potatoes with a roast.
Bill Hader was so good in this...
Stir in a splash of ACV just before removing them from the pan 🤤🤤🤤
A touch of lemon juice would have been great!

I just boiled some they were tasty in my opinion and I drank the water too so all the nutrients in them weren't lost.

Treat your cast iron pan love your cast iron pan and it will love you back. Rust isn't great for your insides
Still can eat even though radish greens feel prickly please?
I am Biodegradable Bill and I approve this recipe.
Thanks for sharing...I'm wondering how they tasted.
No need to compost them after harvesting the rootsright? Any dish where the roots and greens are together?
I guess you better make one up! Maybe roast or fry or pickle the radish tubers, and cook the greens like this (can mix in dandelion or kale or spinach or other greens), and add something else to the plate to complete it?
Great idea!..but did I hear you say "4 servings??" :)
He meant one serving.
How does it taste like does it have a neutral taste or is it strong
I watched videos: a man bake radish chips; a woman roasted radishes with small leaves in the oven; a man made dressing from the leaves.
Holy fuck at the salt!
yea take out the spatula & turn off the frypan halfway thru & sweet for 1 person :)
You don't eat much if you're making 4 servings out of that,I could eat it all myself, lol

Cooked radishes taste exactly like potatoes!
I can't wait to try this I Josh ford

You're going to melt some of the rubber into the flavor of the dish. Otherwise I'm incredibly encouraged.
It's heat resistant silicone
Hmm” guessing this was your 1st time cooking greens.
