This is a comparison of:
Dunlop Purofort Thermo+ full safety size 46 (1 boot = 1550 g) versus
Dunlop FieldPRO Thermo+ Full Safety (1 boot = 1580 g)
I had ordered the FieldPRO for MudmanHU but have returned it because they are much tighter and smaller inside for the foot. That won't work for him (especially to pull on and off though the narrow ankle part) since he already needs size 48 with the traditional Purofort Thermo+. He would probably need size 51 with the FieldPRO.
The FieldPRO 48 just fit right on my feet although they are a bit tighter than the Purofort 46, but I clearly prefer the traditional Purofort Thermo+ for their view. The FieldPRO are however comfortable to walk in and hold the foot well, which could be good in muddy conditions. Their sole is much more flexible since they have no steel shank.
Danke für das neue Video. Ich finde die neue Passform des Fieldpro angenehmer, da die Stiefel nun fester sitzen (Purofort Fieldpro green) als meine vorherigen Purofort Professionell
Fantastic video of dunlop thermo boots and to highlight the Magnum CLASSIC Boots 💯💯
WOW great size 46-48 i love it
Thermo types from Dunlop are probably the only type of rubber boots which I don't find attractive. But nice to see a comparission.
Nice video. Wish you had also put your pants over the boots for some of it too.
I didn't think that showing the difference between the models makes much sense with the pants over the boots. But I know what your point is. :-]
I would love to get a pair of these boots but unfortunately you can't get this color in the USA and the cost of shipping from the UK is ridiculous. Curious man I've watched all your vids of that Somogybabod event and it looks like a blast all those different boots out there is it still held every year, and have you gone to it?
I personally haven't been at the Somogybabod Offroad Festival for several years, first due to the pandemic (they wouldn't have let foreigners in) and then last year I didn't have time to go and was very sad. However my Hungarian buddy was there and reported that the sense of the festival for us is more or less gone. They have closed the mudpit in the woods completely, by filling up everything with earth and felling trees across the whole space and the entrances to it. There is only the artificially built mud pit at the entrance of the festival left. I understand that the owner of the forest sees it damaged every year, and visitors of the festival go across the farmer's field by foot and by all kinds of vehicles when changing from the official place of the festival (some races) and that mud pit in the forest which is a mile away. Every time the field and plants were significantly damaged. I'm not sure if I will go there again. I prefer to visit only countries with governments which I like or can at least stand, and Mr. Orbán cheating on the whole EU and abolishing democracy isn't among my favourites.
Where in the USA are you roughly? I'd like to check what the shipment from Germany by DHL would be. I would have to pay customs and import tax on top, by the way. I also wonder why shipment from the US is so damn expensive. Yesterday I put a few boots and waders into the cart on the Lacrosse website, just for fun. The value was close to 500 Euros, but the shipment was like 180 and customs even more on top and the total would be 920 Euros. I'd like to have Lacrosse Irrigation waders in US13 and you simply cannot buy it anywhere except in the USA or possibly Kanada. I would possibly except the cost for customs by don't know why shipment has to be so extremely expensive. Let me know in which state you are so I can check DHL.
@@FloodYourWaders I am in Washington state, ya shipping is ridiculous. Don't know the cost of the boots but if you can check on that and shipping that would be great. To bad about the mud festival your videos of the older ones were great, lov seeing all those different kinds of boots. Ya that dude in Hungary is an ass. Thanks man.
@@bootmuckShipment via DHL is 56 USD for a parcel up to 5 kg with insurance and tracking. 2 boots (one right and one left ...) weigh about 3.5 kg. To me it looks like you have a threshold of 800 USD below which no import customs and tax apply, but you might know better. In any case I would have to work through all those regulations, and fill out the forms for the customs declaration and add the boots' bill to the parcel. The regular price for the boots would be 160 USD. If I can find them cheap that would be 140 or 130 in the best case. (The prices for Purofort Thermo+ and FieldPro Thermo+ are roughly equal.)
@@FloodYourWaders wow sure is alot of B S to go through for a pair of boots. I think bud I'm gonna keep looking on ebay hopefully a pair will pop up there. Thanks for your help and I'll let you know what happens
