Beautiful solo skiff, can't wait to get one
Ty, do you recommend flushing the motor after each trip? Great video
i always have flushed every motor i have ever owned. after salt water use that is...
Early morning jackpot ,you lucky,thanks
You finally had a chance to take out the fly rod. Well done. Red's must be a hoot on a popper. Good thing T reported on the storm. It's hard to stop when the bite's on.
What Reef is it? is it in Pensacola?
It’s in rockport Texas where we live
Can you describe your fly fishing rig please
7wt. Floating line. Small bass popper on a #6 stainless hook.
I always heard to count the seconds till the thunder hits and then divide in two. I would say four miles.
Big thumbs up my friend 👍👍
Nice video man! 👍👍
I am seeing some advantages of the skiff over the kayak in this case. Not just for standing in flat skinny water but the ability to outrun a storm.
Looks like so much fun ! Nice video as always Ty.
Listening to the reds pulling on that drag is so relaxing
👍👍 Another great fishing video, Ty. Please Keep'em coming!!👏😀😎✌️👊🐟🐡🚤✝🎣☮🇺🇸🇺🇸
Man I like that little skiff of yours, that thing is pretty cool!
Thx!
I went down on PINS for a week. Not much going on. Knew I should have come to you for a few days. Live and learn.
Good video buddy. Glad you're living the dream man! Love the skiff!
That's a nice little honey hole! Lovin the versatility of that solo skiff.
Been caught in many of bad storms. It's a little scary but we made it through everytime. And I'm still kicking chicken 😂🤣😂🙂
That’s a good spot that shoreline all the way around to the right is good for reds
One of my go to in rockport
This footage is cool on a 70" TV its putting you there. Good job
Lucky it was just the windscreen and not the camera.
Dude what did you loss out of your pocket? Great video.
Wind sock for GoPro. No biggie. Thx!
Ok got ya
Flash to bang method: 8 seconds is just shy of two miles.
8 miles
Cool video! How do you like the Solo Skiff so far? Does it go as shallow as a kayak?
Love it. Yes. As shallow. Should not be legal. Lol
👍❤
one mile per every 5 seconds, so 8 is 1.5 miles.
I was an FO in the army I feel like I would be cheating if I answered that question.
8 seconds, too close!
Too close dude. If you can hear the thunder, time to pull anchor and held for shelter
8secs = roughly 8 miles
1 mile = 5 seconds. So roughly a mile and a half. Way closer.
