    New to the hobby thinking about getting one of these and this one is clearly upgraded to shit with whatever’s goin on with the rear suspension and all the metal parts up front. Is this all custom stuff or are there parts kits you can buy? And how much does it cost to get a yeti to this level of awesome?

    • @RiCchannel
      @RiCchannel  5 років тому +1

      Thanks for your comment. The alu pannels are home made. You can buy all the others parts. the price is about 1000€ for a full custom yeti !

  • @jameslyons1978

    Hi there, would you mind telling me what front shocks you're running as I'm finding it hard to find a suitably hard shock that'll take the beating my yeti takes. Great vid!

    • @RiCchannel
      @RiCchannel  7 років тому +2

      Hi James, i'm running with axial front shocks but the springs are some rear hard spring (axial blues).
      Thank you for your comment.

    Joliiiii RiC, il a de la gueule ton Yeti.... LE 7 ! yes
    Camera, vidéo, ...sublime! Bravo
    On dirait qu'il n'y a pas d'huile dans les amortos!? ça fait ressort

    • @RiCchannel
      @RiCchannel  7 років тому

      Salut jocaz, merci pour le nouveau look. Le 7 est bricolé avec de l'adhésif d'électricien ! Sinon les amortisseurs ont bien de l'huile silicone 250 ,il est vrai très fluide et le yeti est alourdi avec des plombs d'équilibrage de roues.

    Impressionante voiture RC!!! La carrosserorie n'est pas d'origine? Il existe une référence avec les panneaux en alu? La roue vient de quel modéle, comment est-elle fixée au chassis?

    • @RiCchannel
      @RiCchannel  6 років тому

      Merci. Effectivement la carrosserie est maison avec des plaques d'alu découpées. La roue est une des roues d'origine fixée avec le système de fixation en Y livré dans le kit rtr d'origine... à renforcer avec des colliers d'électricien en plastique noir pour éviter que la roue bouge.

      I wish I new cause honestly a nice revamp that could let us use stock yeti chassis but revamped front diff and rear would be great but no support unfortunately. Love my yeti but they just needed to make room for the ryft

    • @codydillenbeck4443
      @codydillenbeck4443 3 роки тому

      I also believe its because the losi is a better truck in many ways compared to the yeti. One largest complaint was how slow it was.

    • @RiCchannel
      @RiCchannel  6 років тому

      adding weight in the chassis gives you a scale result of the suspension work. The best place to add weight is in the back of the truck... it's better for the jumps.

    I have a yeti and have a whole lot done to it an alot more weight and I'm wondering how do you have the front end set up all the way like that I want my the exact way as as much as it can go but do I need just springs or new arms like those also?

    • @RiCchannel
      @RiCchannel  7 років тому

      Hi Tyler, you only need to change your springs. New arms gives the yeti a nice look for the vidéo !

    Can you please advise what bl set are you using and battery etc. As I can see there are green springs in the back and yellow in the front. Stock shocks? Can you advice other usefull settings?

    • @RiCchannel
      @RiCchannel  7 років тому

      wow... ok !
      1 / its a rtr yeti
      2 / 3s battery
      3 / stock shocks with BLUE springs (the same in front and rear)
      4 / i added weight in the chassis (it is the most important upgrade)
      5 / there is many alu upgrades
      6 / i use fluid oil for the shocks
      ...that's all... No
      7/ i film in slow motion... in normal speed the suspension work is too fast !

    • @kzsotl1
      @kzsotl1 7 років тому

      Thank you for your fast feedback.
      4 / You did add weight to the chassis? where?(front? rear? or ugrade part) and how many grams/oz if you mean lead weight(PB)?
      6 / what viscosity oil in the shocks and grease in the diffs?

    • @RiCchannel
      @RiCchannel  7 років тому

      i added pb in the fuel tank (pb for real cars wheels ) the most possible ! the oil viscosity is 350 rwt. the diff is strictly stock ! dont add weight on the wheels it's Just for crawling not for U4 !
