New to the hobby thinking about getting one of these and this one is clearly upgraded to shit with whatever’s goin on with the rear suspension and all the metal parts up front. Is this all custom stuff or are there parts kits you can buy? And how much does it cost to get a yeti to this level of awesome?
Hi there, would you mind telling me what front shocks you're running as I'm finding it hard to find a suitably hard shock that'll take the beating my yeti takes. Great vid!
Lol in the process right now. Im going to try some more action layouts myself.Im not experience d in filming. But no rush im in this for the long haul.
hey man, nice vid with the yeti👍 great footage!! downstairs flying is my favorite 👍👍 i see lot of tuning parts, how stabile is the stock version of the yeti? awesome stuff, subbed and liked my friend🙏🙏👍👍💪💪👌👌
Impressionante voiture RC!!!
Hi. I make your video I would like to make videos like that. Could you tell me that it is the basic thing that I have to have apart from a camera to make such amazing shots?
I wish I new cause honestly a nice revamp that could let us use stock yeti chassis but revamped front diff and rear would be great but no support unfortunately. Love my yeti but they just needed to make room for the ryft
props on the camera work. even the most badass upgrades rigs look lame unless the camera can catch those upgrades in action, so once again, thanks for the great camera work.
Thanks a lot. Have a look on the others messages... you'll find the answer of all your questions !... the oil, the springs, the front bumper and more...
adding weight in the chassis gives you a scale result of the suspension work. The best place to add weight is in the back of the truck... it's better for the jumps.
Amazing stability and control on the stairs! The body barely moves! I am going to be running mine soon. I think I am going to drop my shock oil weight a bit. As usual great video and superb driving too!
Phantom Driven - Cars, RCs, and Lego Technic...yes i have a feiyu g5 on my GoPro 5. UA-cam analytics is the same allover the world... Here in France, your Utah video is first after this one ! if it's good for you, it's good for me too !😅
Wow, that's great filming with some serious 'n dramatic close up action! Absolutely great work ! Btw, you asked me If I'm H. Bolt (Hotshot Clip)...but how did you manage??? thanks for sharing with us, best regards
thanks for watching Rentz. You can change parts when you broke them. You Will find good parts from asiatees and amain hobby fist from Hong Kong and 2nd from USA. if you look at their website you'il see most parts used on my yeti.
I have a yeti and have a whole lot done to it an alot more weight and I'm wondering how do you have the front end set up all the way like that I want my the exact way as as much as it can go but do I need just springs or new arms like those also?
Can you please advise what bl set are you using and battery etc. As I can see there are green springs in the back and yellow in the front. Stock shocks? Can you advice other usefull settings?
wow... ok ! 1 / its a rtr yeti 2 / 3s battery 3 / stock shocks with BLUE springs (the same in front and rear) 4 / i added weight in the chassis (it is the most important upgrade) 5 / there is many alu upgrades 6 / i use fluid oil for the shocks ...that's all... No 7/ i film in slow motion... in normal speed the suspension work is too fast !
Thank you for your fast feedback. 4 / You did add weight to the chassis? where?(front? rear? or ugrade part) and how many grams/oz if you mean lead weight(PB)? 6 / what viscosity oil in the shocks and grease in the diffs?
i added pb in the fuel tank (pb for real cars wheels ) the most possible ! the oil viscosity is 350 rwt. the diff is strictly stock ! dont add weight on the wheels it's Just for crawling not for U4 !
Hi RiC!

Thumbs up.
Thank you Ricardo, i'm glad you enjoyed my video.
Love slow motion watching the suspension soaking up every little bump
That's why i love slow motion ! Rcs are too fast. Thanks for watching my video. 😜
You made a fantastic picture in a limited space. It's amazing.
You're right that was
very difficult !😉
nice slow mo vid
like and sub ^_^
RC Play Ground Thank you very much😃
Great filming
Thanks Jason. 👍
Fantastic edit, well done 👍🏻 if this doesn't make you want to charge up your rc and take it out nothing will 👍🏻

thanks a lot for your comment.

Is this all custom stuff or are there parts kits you can buy? And how much does it cost to get a yeti to this level of awesome?
Thanks for your comment. The alu pannels are home made. You can buy all the others parts. the price is about 1000€ for a full custom yeti !
Hi there, would you mind telling me what front shocks you're running as I'm finding it hard to find a suitably hard shock that'll take the beating my yeti takes. Great vid!
Hi James, i'm running with axial front shocks but the springs are some rear hard spring (axial blues).
Thank you for your comment.
Bravo
On dirait qu'il n'y a pas d'huile dans les amortos!? ça fait ressort

That side view going down the stairs was legendary. Could not stop rewinding and watching it again.
Thanks a lot for your comment. That was fun to do ! 😀
Very well done boyz!!! The song is badass also. But the sequence down the stairs INCREDIBLE 👍hope to see more.
Thank you, i appreciate...if you can't wait a new video... watch my oldies !!!... LOL
Lol in the process right now. Im going to try some more action layouts myself.Im not experience d in filming. But no rush im in this for the long haul.

Thanks a lot for your awesome comment.
hey man, nice vid with the yeti👍 great footage!! downstairs flying is my favorite 👍👍 i see lot of tuning parts, how stabile is the stock version of the yeti? awesome stuff, subbed and liked my friend🙏🙏👍👍💪💪👌👌
Wow ! thank you for your awesome comment. The stock version is not so different than mine... mine is more solid !!!
That slow motion of it going down the steps was incredible 👍
Thanks lawrence for your comment.👍👍👍

Excellent video. That loose spare bugs me though haha!
Jay P Thank you so much !
Hi. I make your video I would like to make videos like that. Could you tell me that it is the basic thing that I have to have apart from a camera to make such amazing shots?
Hi Fabio, thanks for your comment. For a best result, your camera must be... On the floor. 😜
niiiice!!! which shocks are you running on this beast?
Thanks... Just stock shocks with fluid oil !
@@RiCchannel ok interesting. It seems to me that the stock shocks can't really hold the weight of the vehicle.
@@RoosterRC oh yes but you must change the springs if your yeti is heavy as mine.
@@RiCchannel What springs are you using. They look good! And what weight oil?
Love your vids man. What kind of links do you have on the front? Steering & suspension?
Thanks man. These links and steering are some boom racing parts. The shocks are stocks ones 😀
This video is so nice.
It inspires me to make my stuff look better. Great car great driving and editing.
Thanks mate. 😁
Super nice camera work!!! A pleasure to watch!!!!
Thank you for your comment Appreciate it .

That's awesome!! Love the shots of it going down the stairs...holy crap that's cool!
awesome . love the quality of the video. Enjoyed it
Thanks a lot... Have a look on my others vidéos... And tell me if you liked them. 😜
This looks like the common ancestor between the Capra and the Bomber. So what were the flaws that made the Yeti extinct.
I wish I new cause honestly a nice revamp that could let us use stock yeti chassis but revamped front diff and rear would be great but no support unfortunately. Love my yeti but they just needed to make room for the ryft
I also believe its because the losi is a better truck in many ways compared to the yeti. One largest complaint was how slow it was.
Great video love the passion and hard work and it shows keep it up
Thank you for your comment.
Absolutely superb filming and editing skills! Subscribed. 🤙
One of the best Yeti videos I have ever seen. Excellent slo mo work from the side of the vehicle as it went down the stairs. Really enjoyed it.
Wooi Jin Ong Thank you so much for your awesome comment.
props on the camera work. even the most badass upgrades rigs look lame unless the camera can catch those upgrades in action, so once again, thanks for the great camera work.
you're right... no more to say ! thank you for your comments.
Been watching your great videos of the yeti. What springs/oil weights have been using? And that front bumper.....
Thanks a lot. Have a look on the others messages... you'll find the answer of all your questions !... the oil, the springs, the front bumper and more...
thanks i'll go do a little more digging, figured out the bumper.... Maybe a little much to ask if you've figured weight bias?
adding weight in the chassis gives you a scale result of the suspension work. The best place to add weight is in the back of the truck... it's better for the jumps.
Killer vid bro!!!! Really next level. Couldn't smash the thumbs up and sub fast enough.
Thank you so much James, i appreciate your comment.
Totally Awesome. This Convinced me to buy a Yeti!
Thanks a lot, i appreciate your comment. 😀😀😀
Amazing stability and control on the stairs! The body barely moves! I am going to be running mine soon. I think I am going to drop my shock oil weight a bit. As usual great video and superb driving too!
You're right, that stairs sequence was hard to do but the result was nice. Thanks for your awesome comments.
I love it. What springs and shock oil did you use? Did you lock your front diff?
Thanks. The shocks are stocks ones with harder springs... My yeti is heavy ! and no, the front diff is not locked.
Cool. Do you remember what color or specs of the springs used? Also, what weight oil front and rear?
epic vids man love it liked it shared it & subed it hope it helps see ya
Thanks man.
Loved it.

RiC thanks a lot!
ill be eyeing on the aluminum hub carrier/steering hub and front lower arms first.
Good choice !
RiC and maybe the shock springs. the stock from the kit is a little soft or do i just need to change the shock oil?

I have a yeti and have a whole lot done to it an alot more weight and I'm wondering how do you have the front end set up all the way like that I want my the exact way as as much as it can go but do I need just springs or new arms like those also?
Hi Tyler, you only need to change your springs. New arms gives the yeti a nice look for the vidéo !
ok thank you
if you don't mind could you tell me what brand an size those are or send me a link to them?
Ok thank you
I may need the blues bc I have a lot of aluminum on mine an I've got a cberc steel skid plate on mine
Can you please advise what bl set are you using and battery etc. As I can see there are green springs in the back and yellow in the front. Stock shocks? Can you advice other usefull settings?
wow... ok !
1 / its a rtr yeti
2 / 3s battery
3 / stock shocks with BLUE springs (the same in front and rear)
4 / i added weight in the chassis (it is the most important upgrade)
5 / there is many alu upgrades
6 / i use fluid oil for the shocks
...that's all... No

4 / You did add weight to the chassis? where?(front? rear? or ugrade part) and how many grams/oz if you mean lead weight(PB)?

My next kit.. what electronics are you running?
It's a rtr yeti with a stock electronic. 👍
How are you runnin your suspension?

Rear is locked and front is open...
