This season has turned kl into an even more try hard mess then it already was for those skins. But I personally don't think the Kabal skin is worth it, so only getting the Skarlet skin & playing for the Baraka skin myself. :)

@Camberwell Its not so much the fact of winning its more so the fact of what the player base turns into. Using all the cheap & awful crap this game has as well if they lose they are rather aggressive about it. While I'm over here just playing, if I win cool if not "ehh" who cares let's see where I messed up.

I want to get back into this game but the online is super toxic and I’m not too great at these type of games :( ((but you Super are fun to watch and want me to get back into it!)
Same... started playing Tekken 7 to get my fighting game fix.
I play the game almost every day but I am not a pro player - so no matter what I do, I ll never get up to the god ranks. Just a few minutes ago I experienced some toxic, cheating KL player. Made me remember why the KL is no fun. Other don't play fair but I lose points....so frustrating. So, no Kabal skin - no matter how hard I try :(

Its only demi god. Thats easy, it just depends on how much you play. After demi the points loss really starts counting. You can do it man, you play every day

One thing you can feel good about on the last loss to Cetrion is you got 15 pts for the loss and the guy that won got 10 pts. That truly sums up KL imo.
How about when if you win its 10 if you lose its 30 if they win its 110.
That guy was one rank above Super, he gets less points for winning against someone below him.
And you get points even for losing until you reach Champion rank.

I just got to Demigod ❤ You really can't mess around when you get to this level. Grandmaster is pretty tough, that's usually where I stagnate, but Demgod is where the real Mortal Kombat artisans dwell.

shaky... sometimes even frustrated, doesn't matter if I win, it's just the feeling that some player's playstyle give me that makes me want to stop playing because I know I'm not enjoying the game.
Idk... I just play to complete challenges and usually it gets me to Master / Grand Master. I honestly don't even care, getting to champion to get that extra skin is always enough for me, tbh I'm even thinking of taking advantage of playing on PC and simply use an unlocker. I don't give a damn. I simply don't want to miss content that I technically paid for.

Yesterday I went 26-6 and I'm pretty proud of it because I played 6 different characters because I wanted to just actually have fun .
I wish they would let you interchange the awards for the costumes, I'd switch Kabal with Kotal's placement in a heartbeat

Respect for having the nerves to play till Demi God i‘ll only play to get skarlett and baraka...
It's crazy because I was doing my 5 daily sets sweating my ass off and was not enjoying it... Right after I hopped on casual and ended up playing with one guy for like 1-2 hours.. had infinite amounts of more fun.
This gonna sound dumb. But i never really play anythinf but KL. I just dont seem to be having these zoners issues. Like i get zones but i dont have an issue going in. My question is, is that the problem with KL? Or is it harder in general? Cuz i enjoy the game alrrady. I used to always do KOTH back in X, doesnt feel the sam with MK11 tho. Idk
@@SuperBabyMario0C my guess is it's just a mindset thing. On KL (or any ranked mode in fighting games) when you have points on the line, things get pretty sweaty and losses can be upseting. In casuals you can just sit back and relax, don't need to bring out your main everytime. I don't get mad when I play, win or loss (except to b.s) but it's just very exhausting to play KL compared to casuals

I play KL since thats where the game is played at it’s dirtiest and I enjoy that lmao domt get mad at t bags, and i play to get better rather than winning, plus i like the sets in KL. Zoning doesn’t bother me usually i win 1, then they switch to a zone character. N if i happen to lose i go to jade (they played me dirty so i give em the same medicine). The rewards are just a plus. I do miss KOTH since with that back in X id fight someone new each time. It is stress, but all that...it still gets boring after a few sets. While in X i found myself playing way more. Ill give casual multiplayer a shot tho.

If you want Demigod in 10 days you'd have to win every single set plus come across some people who are ranked way higher than you. Demigod is 3,500 points. At an avg. of 50 points per win, thats 70 wins...with no losses. I don't see it.
I would say average of 30 points per win because as you rank up, you'll see more of less points for a win. The only way he can hit demigod in 10 days is if he plays like 7 hours a day. But then, streamer often do that

You get more damage using 2,3 with Kabal rather than standing 4 or standing 1.
E.g you did standing 1 AA into 1,1 spin when you could do standing 1 into 2,3 spin
Or after Nomad dash you did 2,3 hook grab, standing 4, overhead hook slam. When you should have done 2,3 hook grab into 2,3 overhead slam.

Nrs games aren’t the only fighting games where zoning is considered good. In Street Fighter It’s considered good to play Guile, even though his main two tools are sonic boom and flash kick.
@@codgoddanny4364 yea but in SF you can clash projectiles and have chip damage not be the reason you die. MK supports sitting back throwing projectiles cause you can can kill with chip damage in NRS games
RFLeX That’s true. I think at high level it’s cool to see how they counter the zoning, but at intermediate level where most of us probably play, it definitely supports people chipping you out full screen.

I reached it this morning and jeez that was rough...
First two skins in the league are mostly fun to get, you win some rounds and dont, face spammers and pros, its all good... But the climb to get to Demi , all to often its the worst kind of spamming you will face and worse you might end up resorting to it to win some matches yourself! I'm glad i got it and aces that even with the deterioration of points system I'll KEEP it. I DO normally enjoy playing till the second skin is got in KL, along with the season challenges one. More often than that they're enough and the demi+ one I can leave it. But RumbleBee Kabal!? .. No way.
Hopefully I wont be forced to that to get Pit Reptile Scorpion or Vinyl pants Cassie in the next two seasons...
I guess we will see ......
