Graphically, of course it LOOKS like Madden. Why wouldn't it? It uses the same engine. The problem most people have isn't the looks and how it looks like Madden. The problem is most criticize the gameplay mechanics. I have no doubt in my mind that the development team will add more mechanics to set it apart from Madden. Of course some things will be borrowed from Madden, and it won't be perfect, but we have College Football back baby! If everyone just wants to complain, simple, don't buy it and move on with your miserable self ...
i am going to kind of disagree with the reskin part. yes, same player models basically. yes, the tackle animations shown looked like moves in madden. I'm sure those are being ported over to the college game......but.....i think that will be the only thing ported over to this game. it's just animations. they could add to that and add more types of animation and physics to those. you have no idea. i have no idea. wait until this comes out so say that it is a reskin of Madden. i don't think it will fully be. it has a different creative diretor (desinger) that they got from 2K and they hired the Revamped team to help out. it may be great or it may be crap....you are waaaaay too early come to this conclusion based on a reveal trailer that has no true gameplay. there should be something about the gameplay soon.

They are both football, they are both made by the same developer, so your a fool if your shocked that they would share some of the same animations for tackles, dives, hits and so on… in the end, both are the same damn game. Lol 😂 The point of having a college football one, is to create a feel and an atmosphere and overall game that stands a part from the NFL one for what it is… and they have always done that. And no, Im not just talking about the pregame stuff, the off field stuff and so on. What makes College Football feel different, gameplay wise… is the player attributes. Just like in real life, there are some huge mismatches in talent in College, that simply don’t happen at the NFL level. EVERYONE is exceptional in the NFL, thats why they make it to that league. In College, not the case, and those attributes create mismatches in the game, which in turn, gives College Football that sort of unpredictable, more fast paced, chaotic feel… plays that break wide open, tempo and comebacks and so on… that the more lethargic NFL can’t hold a hat too. Add to that a presentation (bands thumping away in the background, cheerleaders, program specific chants, mascots, traditions) and you get a unique college experience to the game, and with a shorter gameclock than NFL, wider gaps in talent at skilled positions, and a host of other things… you get a different game that feels much different. Simply looking at a tackle and going “Oh that looks just like a tackle in Madden” and getting all disappointed over that is just ridiculous in my opinion. Of course thats got to be expected to some degree. Heres something else you didn’t touch bases on either…. Both Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt have done a massive amount of voice recordings for this game. Why??? Well… as you know Joel Klatt and Johnson are not ESPN broadcasters… they are FOX Sports. The reason is, this game is going to have multiple broadcast presentations depending on what channel is covering your game. No joke… that has never been done, and that is just part of EA making an effort to pull away from the “Just another Madden Reskin” comment. They have put an incredible amount of effort into separating this one from Madden, and tho some of the on field play and animations may be shared… this one will feel nothing like Madden in terms of the overall experience. I guarantee you that.
