    I went to settings English subtitle on youtube and it helps to have more understanding. It seems easy when you just watch the video. However, as the BEGINNER, it still confuses me. What kind of glue to use, what varnish to use, how long to leave the item to dry and etc. But thank you for sharing this video anyway.

    Very pretty box but I am a beginner I. Decoupage and I think it would have it easier to understand if you talked and explained it because I would have like to know why you put it on plastic and what was the first liquid you applied and then the second liquid and then how to do the technique with the sponge brush.. Just a suggestion but it did come out so pretty thank you for sharing with us

    • @SvetlanaAist

      Peggie Medeiros I use plastic (a regular film, for example, punched pocket, polypocket, slippery fish, sheet protector) it gives the possibility to apply a napkin without wrinkles. You have to turn on subtitles where you see all materials.

    Thank you for this video. You have helped me better understand how to decoupage. However, I find in crafting, there is a such a large variety of products that I can never be sure what the instructor is using in their videos. For example, what type of ink are you using? Could I use acrylic paint on the stamp?

    • @SvetlanaAist
      @SvetlanaAist  9 років тому

      +Dee Stillman Acrylic paints are not recomended because it is very difficult to clean a stamp after using acrylic. I used aistcraft.com/62-stazon-inkpads All products that I used you can see here aistcraft.com/content/18-tutorials-decoupage

Would you please be so kind as to give a better description of items needed? Thank you, Svetlana for your quick response. I just placed an order, but I didn't order everything needed. I'll come back when the sand colored acrylic paint is available. Just for clarity, I will only need gray OR sand, not both for the primary color. Is that correct?

    • @SvetlanaAist
      @SvetlanaAist  7 років тому

      Thank you, Rhonda for order. It is better if you use some primer before painting, for example aistcraft.com/acrylic-paints/2726-acrylic-primer-white.html or you can apply 2 layers of some grey or sand colored acrylic paint (KAD9 is not obligatory) , You can use some that you have.

      Buongiorno. Se c'è un desiderio, chiunque raggiungerà l'obiettivo. Il decoupage non è difficile, ma ci vuole del tempo per imparare a farlo bene.

    What is the film? what is a film pocket?

      I use plastic (a regular film, for example, punched pocket, poly pocket,
      slippery fish, sheet protector) it gives the possibility to apply a
      napkin without wrinkles.

      Svetlana AistCraft right. Something with a bith of thickness to it. Staples has sheet protectors or we used to have what we called "book report covers" that would have a plastic colored binding that would work too. I think this is stunning and the themes can be endless.
