Thanks for the excellent map tour FSG. The map falls perfectly between the tight uk maps and the big wide open US maps. Looks like it is well worth a go.
I agree this map feels alive and I think I will try this one. Might have to build a cow farm and make some hay. Great review. Haut Beyleron is one of my go to maps, when I just want to play.
This looks so much like the farmland I saw last week in southern Normandy down to Le Mans and Saumur. I also saw the biggest silage clamp you're ever likely to come across attached to a BGA near Caen. 200x50x10 METRES!!!! Try filling that! #thefarmsimguy
Thanks for the tip, looks really nice, if you hadn't done so, you should give Galgenberg a look in the Modhub where the Mod Creator Jogi rebuild his home town, the main farm is nearly a 1:1 recreation of the original farm with custom buildings, right now he is working on making it a 4x map
Thanks for pointing this nice map out, high quality content as always 👍🏻😊 I think I‘ll have a play with it, while waiting for Court Farms 😊 It always gives me a smile, when I hear you guys from the island not calling yourself europeans 😆
I like the style of this map. What I would add: Traffic, a highway on the edge leading to the outside world (could have some sell points there as well as restaurant, etc..), pedestrians! Where are all the people? I had a good time playing a similarly field-heavy map: "Southern Cross Station" South Australia, and it's a good map but empty of people. After awhile this gets a little nerve wracking IMO. If you started with this but made it 4x with some big park on the side for forestry and a few alternate farms, a few interesting productions, it would be fantastic. Maybe a large lake or river on the edge.
Hey Farmsim guy, think you could do a video explaining how to download these mods and maps? The sites don't make it very clear and I'm new to pc gaming so I'm worried about clicking the wrong link and getting some virus or malware lol. Cheers and thx for the preview
Nice looking map. Thanks for the tour. Would like to play on it, but unfortunately I've tried to DL it six straight times. Every attempt the DL keeps failing.
I liked this map in fs19 and it looks awesome in fs22. Love all the details and the custom farms. Tried the map today but I can’t play on it because there’s no traffic. (Yes I’m one of those people that needs traffic on a map 😁) If I have some spare time I will add traffic myself because I want to play on it. 👍
David, a man of your skills, I'm sure that's no issue. 🙂 I HATE traffic, the only map where I like the traffic is Ballyspring, they mare such a good job of it on there
I'm British, but dislike how it's become too 'King & my Castle' culture by people & so autocratic by the establishment/local authorities, and government. France is beautiful architecture & vistas. Quite an opposite to the UK cultural ways. It's very relaxed eating delicious Cheval a steaks (just a mere posh beef cut really), further South for a Maison de Courvoisier, Bergerac tour & taste and relaxed throughout the green Dordorge Valley region. I've been trying to find a character French map like this. Thanks for the review, I'll play this one!
have been playing this map for a while now, has a number of issues. first it has poor definition of fields that do not support course play very well. The grass separation between fields is not enough. It has very poor support for animal produce ie milk, nowhere to sell it on the map. No dairy so now way to make cheese, very much not french eh they make lot of cheese. Additional crops do not have english version so sloppy. No sale point for eggs. So unless you are willing to do a lot of manual farming and no course play which is a shame because they are big fields and don't want animals then not a ma
The Loire Valley is only really know for Goats Cheese, it’s more of an arable region with somewhere like the Rhone-Alpes more suited to dairy farming. Loire Valley is all big for grapes and wine. But there nothing stopping you adding cow sheds and a dairy if you wanted they are placeable in the game and a good number of mods to download and include 👍

Great review FSG! very realistic french map Im excited
Very nice to get a new map in France. Good find FS guy! Love the high speed trains and the large fields. Thanks for the tour!
Trés bien, monsieur! 😉
Merci beaucoup! 😊👍🏻

You are very welcome

Log file was clean for me
@@12POINTER my log is clean, with more than 200 mods installed
You should do some sort of series. Possibly doing a start from zero. This is just a suggestion. Thank you for the map tour.
No grapes In the Loire Vallee is a bit odd! But a nice detail map!

Maybe not a whole video but go over what you do when you're downloading a 3rd party mod.
I did one for FS19 and the principles are still the same, but it’s a video I maybe should update for FS22 ua-cam.com/video/73sG3_Hdi7A/v-deo.html
@@TheFarmSimGuy Gotcha, Thx man... I'll check it out!

@@TheFarmSimGuy adding traffic is not that difficult. Some people hate it and some love it. For me it makes the map feels alive. 😁
fantastique map 👌
I live in the Loire region in France 🇫🇷 just like being home
Nice Calum! Always nice to hear when a map maker has created something that’s relatable to the actual location in real life
Hey FSG nice tour. I think im missing traffic?
Yes there isn’t any traffic on the map
What mod did you use to show what was available at the herbicide fillpoint?
Development controls mod 👍

How do you change things to English?
You need to edit the XML
@@TheFarmSimGuy Thank you, I'll try that.
Doesn't look at European maps? What about the British? Have you left Europe?
Haha, Mainland Europe... We're outcasts now after Brexit 😂
hi FSG uninstalled my few mods but still the same when i quit the sim i was under the map . So i uninstalled course play and it was ok
Just out of interest where are you getting courseplay from? And does it do it on every map?
@@TheFarmSimGuy corse play from giants mod plus it happens on different maps
