All predictions are seen from the Ascendant itself but when it comes to nodes you should check both as their transit will be seen from the Ascendant but they also have effect on moon as they're technically nodes of the moon
I was taught that transition effects should be assessed from moon sign. These younger generation of astrologers assess from ascendant. 🤷🏻. For example if it should be assessed from ascendant, should Sade sathi be considered from ascendant? Answer: no! Therefore, I would say predictions based on transits should be from moon

Why can't vedic astrologers make their stand CLEAR as to whether viewers should take the predictions from Ascendant OR Moon.....no ifs, no buts,
