omg I'm so happy I found someone like me... I'm also a slow eater and I don't do it in purpose, it's just that whether I'm eating a big or a small bite, I'd chew continuously like that until I feel like I'm able to swallow but what's bad is that at work I don't have that much time to eat and I always end up the last one in the dining hall as my colleagues tend to wait sometimes but they get tired so they leave haha idk what to do abt it...

actually i think thats the point. People who are on diets ( not sure if its healthy really) will chew their food until its basically nothing.

@@mangosorbet2619 i mean if u didnt count her birthday, she will turn 29, (internationally) in this year.. i dont know in your country, but in my country, you will become older, even if u didnt reach your birthday yet. for example i born in march 1999, but in january 22, (before my birthday), i check my status as a student, and they already counted my age as 22 even it still not my birthday yet.

The similarity to Korea is that once you pass the new year (but in Korea it’s the lunar new year) you age another year). Here in North America you only age on your birthday. My grandfather also ate fast. He died at age 84 and when he had a medical check up, his internals, digestive system were in the good condition.

I actually am like her, I eat very slowly to the point my parents always scold me as a child. now I'm in my twenties and everytime I eat too quickly (by this I mean normal speed) I got indigestion. it is very stressful for me to eat quickly lol

It's shown that eating slowly helps with dieting. You let more oxygen in between bites and gives time to let your brain process that you are eating and feeling full as it also gives time for the rest of your body to send the full signal back to your brain. That is something I am still struggling because all the different jobs I've taken don't give you much time for lunch so my habit during days off cannot be adjusted. I keep finishing everything within 5-10 minutes. To eat so slowly and healthy you need constant determination and focus.

I can relate because im a slow eater also. At first, i think im weird. Because people always complain about my eating style. And i tend to zoned out also when eating. But for me, i always think i eat fast enough but end up making people waiting for me to finish my food. Don't think weird, it just us(slow eater) enjoying our food.

I can relate to her , I eat very slowly cause when I was younger mom always told me to chew slowly or else food might get stuck and you would choke so I chew 20 times before swallowing and now it’s a habit. Mom gets so mad because I take 1 hour to eat rice.😑

The egg yolk is literally the healthiest part of the egg lol all the important nutrients are in there. Honestly the idea that egg yolk is bad for u is so outdated

Just the egg whites isn't bad either to be honest, it's the protein.
