I love this! In most professions, it is normal to have a separation between work stuff and personal stuff. As a teacher, i had the supplies and materials i would use in my classroom separate from those i used at home or with my own kids. I think having your library distinct from your personal collection makes sense, not only organizationally, but also for your viewers. You can be specific when discussing how you feel about a product. Is it worth keeping just for reference, or is it so good that it becomes part of your rotation…a very important distinction. Not only that, but preferences change, and i can’t tell you how many times i decluttered something because i “dont like that shade or style on me”, then six months later, i wanted to explore that very same thing. Regarding project panning, i don’t do a highly structured PP, i just have one product for each step set aside; a “Full Face Project Pan” i suppose. I use these products on the regular, and replace items as i use them up. I generally select items that are close to expiring, or i have hit pan on, or it just is a favorite or suits the season. I have these set aside from the rest of my shop my stash products, which i rotate monthly. I find it difficult for me to keep track of the more elaborate project types. I love watching your content, because we have similar aesthetic and preferences, and similar skin tone and type, and also i live in Florida too! (Central FL East Coast) Thanks for a nice, long video…perfect for those of us with longer attention spans! ❤ PS…how’s your recovery going? Hope all is well!
Thank you for your comment and thanks for asking! Recovery is going well! I'm told it could take 6 months to fully recover but I'm back in slacks and heels week 2!
I do this too. A drawer with a full face. Separate from my current rotation. And all stuff I know that I love that will look good together and go with everything so it makes it an easy reach in a rush.
Hi Kari!!! Your last few videos highlighting your collection were so awesome but THIS one is my all time fav! I love declutters! Not to mention, the eye makeup in this video is beyond amazing. You truly are so talented! Hope you are continuing to heal up from surgery! Thanks Kari!
I can relate. I grew my collection within the last 3 years during the pandemic. I was just a an exploratory phase, I was inspired, maybe a little bored etc. I found my therapy! I know have a mod size collection. Upon purchase of I didn’t like or didn’t work out I returned it. Not the best thing for the environment but I had to put myself first in that regard. If I missed the return timeframe I would just give it away! Now that I know what I like and what works for me I’ve decluttered to family, friends and co workers! That a win win to me. I’ve used up so many products which makes me proud. I keep an inventory which is also therapeutic, I also have a running project PAN! It’s effective it does work! Generally I switch my products out in order the give them some love. I have no buy categories etc.
Exactly! Same! During quarantine is when my youtube journey began. I started watching UA-cam videos and growing my collection and privately reviewing makeup, until I decided I should share my thoughts. Thank you so much for your comment.
Just wanted to share my experience. I love makeup it’s my things. I have decided to make more intentional purchases and cut back on buying significantly. Beautiful collection, Enjoy! Ps I enjoy your channel. So cheers to growth!
I used to LOVE it. I have actually repurchased that mascara many times. Haven't used it in a while, tho. But, I'm a fan of Lancome mascaras in general.

Kari what do you think of lancome monsieur big mascara? I heard from some the wand is too big but it gives you almost false lashes.
I used to LOVE it. I have actually repurchased that mascara many times. Haven't used it in a while, tho. But, I'm a fan of Lancome mascaras in general.
A very sultry look on you in this video! You look smokin! 😍
Oh thank you!
Your eyes look beautiful!
Oh thank you!
Mac mascaras irritate my eyes too and usually mascaras don’t irritate my eyes
I'd like to identify the ingredients that irritate me so I can stay away from them. It's too bad, I've like a lot of MAC mascaras.
