While Pantheon is not a 1v9 champ, he does scale pretty well. He got the riot special with his mini rework, he's strong early and scales well.
The penetration buffs pretty much extended his immense strength early game to later stages of the game as well. When I one-shotted a full hp tank late game, it definitely put a smile on my face.
Pantheon got the best Season to Season change in this games history. He is a top tier Jungle, Mid, Top, and Support

domination HoB into scaling runes like attackspeed or gathering.
editor here. i've been liking lethal tempo, and then going liandry sorc void and 3rd item optional but i like rabs. 55% magic pen + 18 flat, plenty of ability haste, the build isn't TOO expensive tho the rab components can be a pain so u can switch it out with something else. with lethal i dont need to build nashors and can shred squishies and tanks with 2 items/3 items. i haven't tried this with Hail of Blades but i can see that being good into a squishy comp.

i believe azir is really diverse so you can make your own style.
what has worked for me in this season is HoB + cheapshot + eyeball + revenous + font of life + bone plating.
items I got liandries into dcap and then rylais if game gets any longer I got either morelo for heal reduction or void. if non of those are needed I go demonic.
the % dot is great but i buy it for the hp.
with lost of hp and the slow of rylais your font of life is permanently on and the heal is pretty decent in longer fights.
HoB allows for really good laning and gives you burst in the lategame vs adcs.
for tanks i got LT tho.
I wanted more professor akali clips when he died :(

Im also an Azir otp over 1 mil points on him. I just came back to league and wanna know your thoughts on riftmaker for azir? Is that item bad or not?
takes too long to activate unless the enemy team is a bunch of bruisers/tanks. enemy assassins and burst mages will instantly just kill you, and ADC's will just die faster if u have Liandry's in the late game. lack of ability haste also feels lame.
@@meathead4135 Thanks. I will try it against tankz matchups and use ludens for the squishy matchups. I think the 5 seconds are stacked up fast for me.
@@inventorofsalt i like going Liandry + Void Staff, since the 15% magic pen from Liandry and void staff means you are shredding 55% magic resist. then sorc shoes on top of that.
@@meathead4135 Sounds interesting too! Ill test both. I like the preitem of void. Im not gonna build nashors early on because it doesnt give any cooldown reduction - that sucks.
