@@BENJAMINJAMESSMITH2000 No, and thank you for asking; indeed baptism is a ‘work,’ i.e., something one does. Consider: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9). ❤️

I heard the Lord tell me to send a Bible to this young man who is 19 yrs. old. I heard also to write in the inside cover that when he is feeling deeply lonely and discouraged that it’s “ Deep Calle the time deep” you spoke on Psalm 42:7 so well. I’m sharing this video with him. Plz pray for Sean. You can look into his eyes and see that Jesus loves him. Thank you for teaching. Great job May God bless you always!

*DO YOU HAVE A MINUTE FOR GOD? READ THIS!*
Hi there, you are loved by Jesus Christ and he also died for you so that whoever believes in him shall not perish but shall have eternal life. ✝️☺️❤️
*Colossians 3:12-13 - God has chosen you and made you his holy people. He loves you. So your new life should be like this: Show mercy to others. Be kind, humble, gentle, and patient. 13 Don’t be angry with each other, but forgive each other. If you feel someone has wronged you, forgive them. Forgive others because the Lord forgave you.”* 🌎🌸
You are amazing, I ask you today to give your life to God, or just even to open a Bible. Have a nice day!
👇 If you love Jesus ☺️

@@BENJAMINJAMESSMITH2000 No. Salvation comes when we humble ourselves and realize that we need Jesus Christ to save us from our sins and condemnation. Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our past, present, and future sins. When you repent of your sins and believe in your heart that Jesus is Gods son, and that he is God himself and paid our sin penalty, you receive salvation and the Lords promise of eternal life with him in heaven, free from the penalty of hell eternal. Water Baptism is a commandment from Christ Jesus to publicly show your identifying with his death, burial, and resurrection and should be carried out as soon as able. However we know that the thief on the cross beside Jesus during the crucifixion believed on the Lord Jesus and was unable to be baptized, yet our Savior promised that day that the thief would be with him in heaven! Baptism is an extremely important commandment to be carried out from our Savior, but baptism alone does not save your soul. Knowing and believing that Christ Jesus is the messiah and knowing that HE is the ONLY way to be saved through his atonement for our sins on the cross. Bless you friend and I pray that you reach out to a local Bible preaching pastor or someone in the true faith to guide you and lead you to the cross. I will pray for you, I promise you that. From the New Testament of the Holy Bible, often know as the New Covenant- in the Book of John Chapter 3 verse 16 - KJV: “ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him shall never perish but have everlasting life”. Verse 17 follows : For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved”.

@@BENJAMINJAMESSMITH2000 hi there again Benjamin. I completely understand your confusion when this verse is read out of context. One of the most important things about reading Gods Word is understanding the context that is surrounding the particular scripture. When the Apostle Peter was speaking to the large crowd that day after the tongues of fire had befell the apostles, the Holy Spirit had came to them. The people in the crowd would have been very familiar with John the Baptist who came before Jesus preaching repentance and baptism in light of knowing the messiah’s (Lord Jesus Christ) entry into the world was near. Baptism was absolutely an incredibly important act to be undertaken, however it alone does not result in salvation. Take a look at Ephesians 2:8-9 from God’s Word. The Apostle Paul makes it clear that we are saved by Grace through faith alone. “ For by grace you are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: It is the gift of God: Not of works lest any man should boast”. Ben, we can’t do anything to earn our salvation. Nothing. Living a good, moral, life will not result in us being saved. After we are saved through faith in Jesus Christ, we receive the comforter - The Holy Spirit that produces good works as Christians in our lives. Good works are wonderful, but they are not the answer to salvation. Knowing that you are a sinner, knowing that inwardly we are all stained and unworthy of Gods graces since we all have the curse of sin inside our flesh. Flesh and bone cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven. But our spirits (the real us) can be transformed through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross to reconcile our hearts back to God. I’ll continue to pray for you friend. Please pray to God and ask Him to enlighten your path. Only Jesus Christ is the answer to salvation.

Do you mean, like the repentant thief?
Surely he was saved, or else Jesus lied to him. If that were the case, then everything would be suspect, and faith would be pointless.
If there's time, everyone who repents and believes should be baptized.
